Listening to these cd's last night, I fell in love all over again. To everyone who was able to attend the concert and who will be attending...I am so jealous! As moving as it was hearing him play live on these cd's, I can't imagine being able to see everyone perform and listen as it was meant to be heard.

I do have a couple of questions regarding these cd's though. I have quite a few live cd's, and the sound quality on them are terrible, especially compared to this. Who recorded these? I cannot believe it was just someone in the audience. There is no static, no muffled sounds, etc.. What did they use to record this and where would they have had this device to make it sound so clear? Everything is so clear! The music, the vocals, the audience...no way did some joe blow just record this.

Prince really should release recordings of these concerts on cd. I would buy them up! To me, they sound perfect. Everyone can't be perfect when playing live...but that's the beauty of it. It's so raw this way and that's where the perfection lies.

I had a friend over last night, who doesn't like Prince...at all. I played these cd's, while she was here, and the next thing I know she's asking me to play certain songs over, as she put her head back and listened. She said that she's never really listened to the words, only the beat, and never gave his music a chance, when it wasn't what she was used to listening to. I've always told people that his music wasn't just music...it was like a virus and it infects you. And, last night, it did her. I sent her home with a mixture of Prince cd's, throughout his career, and I think there'll soon be another NPGMC member. So, while I felt horrible downloading these songs (it only lasted a moment until I heard them)some good came out of it.

I have a question?? - Is Bart involved in the production and/or sales of bootleg cds or does he just advocate their sales by posting new bootlegs & their tracklisting?

He just has their information, and it's up to you to decide on buyng them, and if so, how and where to buy them. He's just distributing information...that's all.

I was at that show and that show was seriously overdubbed and even the sequence changed on the DVD. That's why he taped it on Dec 18, 1999 and not New Year's Eve because he wanted to make all those changes. Don't get me wrong, most singing and music was live, and there was no lip synching, but he did fix up some things and really switched the order. He also came out twice. The first time the floor was too slippery so he had a restart and came out smokin the second time.

I downloaded the Chicago show from the internet as well and I have to say it's excellent material. Good quality recording, great performances and beautiful new tracks Xenophobia and Avalanche. The rendition of Sing A Simple Song is just too funky. Go find it y'all, you won't be disappointed! cool
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...
