The "Tentative" Show List on NPGMC

Hey all, I was just curious if maybe some of you might know about that list of "potential" shows the NPG Music Club posted awhile back. For example: they posted a show for May 3rd in Concord, California and I'm just curious if anyone knows the fate of any of these shows. I'm dying to hear/see this guy play "Rainbow Children" material (and some older material would be nice too...but I'll live) live and I just want to make sure he's still coming my way...although I have noticed some of the newer dates have been added with only a couple weeks notice? Or am I crazy? Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like he's changing it up a bit... so far DC and Atlanta are the only cities confirmed, and even they have changed dates. Stuff in between (Pittsburgh, Florida, Richmond) had either been postponed or cancelled.

A little cross-posting here, but first, will say Eye am saddend that Eye can't C Prince in my home state of Florida...Lakeland is only an hour away...

CAN ANY1 WHO HAS BEEN 2 THE ONE NITE ALONE TOUR, DISCUSS WHAT PERCENT OF THE SONGS R IN MEDLEY EDITED 4MAT??? Eye am hopeful that he sings the songs in their full state rather than tear them down...Eye have read about many songwriters who feel songs R their CHILDREN...and Eye love Prince so much, his songs R my ADOPTED CHILDREN...and when they R reduced 2 snippets and Las Vegas showman-style medleys, my CHILDREN seem like they have lost their ARMS AND LEGS>..

I agree, I thought I liked this because he gets to play more songs, but when I listen to old live bootlegs what makes them standout is that they are actually extended versions of the hits, not 1 minute snippets like Tom Jones does in Vegas. I have a bootleg of the 1999 tour and he comes out to an extended version of Controversy. It's awesome, and there'a also some great guitar playing on Lady Cab Driver. Prince just has to pick his songs and play them instead of the medley of hits. It doesn't allow for jamming.
