Anybody buy the $85 ticket?

Hi...I was just wondering...has anybody bought the $85 ticket, and if so, whereabouts in your venue did it cover? Back of main floor? Lower balcony?

I really want to get the $125 NPGMC ticket, but at the same time, I'm having a hard time convincing my sister or one of my friends to spend that much!

It would depend on the venue, but I think an $85 ticket would put you in a row no closer than row 20, or the balcony.

That might be okay in a small theater.

Well if you do purchase the $85 ticket you will not be given access to the soundcheck. This rule totally blows, but it is how they are doing it.

I had a chance to buy $85 tickets, which would have put me in row DD (balcony, starting at AA), of one of the DC shows. To save money, I opted for $55 tickets which put me in row TT, the last row of the balcony. (the difference between the $55 and $85, after services charges and when you consider 2 tickets was large enough to get me to 'downgrade' my selection)

I think the entire floor/orchestra in DC was $125, front half of balcony $85, back half $55. Also, the front of the balcony, according the theater's web site, was above row M of the orchestra, so those DD balcony seats I passed up were pretty good.

End result....my seats were great, even though I was against the back wall; I guess that's due to a well designed venue. The show was amazing, even from my seats. And next time I'll have no problem upgrading myself; the show is worth every penny.

IrishEcho

Here in NYC, it's probably the last row.

I've got $85 tickets for tomorrow's Lakeland Fl show. At this Venue, the $85 tickets are on the mezzenine, which is basically the first level balcony. The $50 is for another balcony above it that, and the $20 seats are at the back of that top balcony. Plus the venue only seats 2100 people, so it's not very big. My seats should be petty decent.
