I am new here. Been checking out all the posts. I am going to the concert tonight in Boston with my sis. We are both so pumped. I cannot believe Purple Rain is 20 years old. I was 17 when it came out. I was a die-HARD Purple Rain fan. Movie and sdtrk. Back then we had cassettes not cd's (LOL) and I think I went through 3 of them. I have always been a fan of his but have never been to any of his concerts. I'm sure it will be a new and great experience. I bought his Musicology Cd when it came out and am impressed. My sis and I are wearing home-made purple tanks with "Purple Rain" album covers on it . Back in the day, I had a neon pink cut-off sweatshirt (think Flashdance) with the same pic and my name on the back. Now remember this was the 80's and I grew up right outside Boston. I have been torturing my children with all my Prince CD's, especially after my 12 year old daughter had the NERVE to ask me " what does he sing mom?" I refuse to believe I am that old. Anyway love the site. And can't wait for tonight. We are gonna stop in at the Harp for a few drinks before the show. Should be a blast

All I can say is MMM, MMMM, MMM I went to last night's show and here I sit at work still whupped, lol, didn't sit down a minute. you are really gonna love the show, have fun!

The show is a 3 hour workout with a couple of breaks. If I can do have that at Prince's age...
