NPG Down...?

Just TRIED to go onto the NPG site to maybe get tix for Atlanta...

site wouldn't let me in...

"Server Down; To many trying to acess site at once" was the window I got...3 times i tried.

luckily I was only tentative about going to Atlanta anyway..got relatives down thre was gonna maybemake a quick trip.

I hope NPG plan on addressing this issue soon...folks will be fuming for sure...

If this happens once tickets go on sale for a show near MY area...not a good thing...NOT a good thing at all...

I'm getting the same thing. Probably because they're posting it now or all of us Paisleyheads crashed the damned thing. It'll be there, don't worry.

Doesn't it seem like nothing they ever do works? Like there's a bunch of 12 year olds running the planning department while some monkeys are webmasters?

Solution 1. If you're going to postpone a presale (or anything) let the people (members at least) know some time before hand.

Solution 2. If you're going to sell tickets from your site instead of Ticketmaster, make sure you accept Discover, American Express, etc. JUST LIKE ticketmaster, so some people (like me who can't just pop up with $250 at every whim) won't be screwed.

Solution 3. If your website/webmasters can't handle site design (or whatever's wrong with the site) DON'T sell tickets there.

Solution 4. Don't be idiots and make shows General Admission because a few (other) idiots can ruin the show for the rest of us who are civil and want to have a good time.

Are you reading this, planning department? If you need more advice, you can hire me (I'm not cheap, though)

Yeah, I saw that and wondered what it meant. I guess that means we have all taken their web server down, at 10am EST, and they are trying to update the thing. Gosh Darnit

Got tickets, the site is up and running fine.

See everyone at the concert. OH BY THE WAY, it ONLY ACCEPTS VISA AND MASTERCARD. Sorry for the rest.

the little addition: "CT" !! wasn't there before...

PreSale: March 23, 10 AM CT

i guess that's the problem when you deal with people who don't believe in time.

DC: wrong password information

Atlanta: wrong time information

Decided not to mke the trip to Atlanta...I'll just keep my fingers crossed for a new Richmond Date.

Those of you who purchased tix directly through NPG can you post the process steps that we'll need to go through when the rest of us try...

what type of info will we need to have ready?

such as...will they automatically charge the same credit card that i used to sign up with NPG (like amozon or ticketmaster) or will I need to rekey all of that info in?

I hope folks represent their frustrations at the soundcheck... Thus far they have been pretty responsive, so please go in with suggestions/concerns. Thanks yall, yall are the pioneers! smile
