I feel exactly what you are saying.
I'm going to one of the DC shows solo. I don't know anybody who is willing to drop 150 bucks to see Prince (at midnight no less). No Candy 4 Me

I understand too. I so much wanted to bring my younger sister with me to the LA concert. She wanted to go very much. She can't afford $125 bucks because she's still in high school and I can't afford the $125 bucks for her either because I'm in Grad School! I would feel really bad now going without her. So if she doesn't go then I don't go. [This message was edited Fri Mar 22 7:09:31 PST 2002 by adambomb]

..on the positive side you get a better seat when you only buy one ticket...

Still waiting. Me and a friend were planning to see the 3 Florida shows and as we have paid for flights from London are still going to the second Atlanta show and then plan to follow the tour for a bit, not sure if Jacksonville and Lakeland are still on.
Anyway if you wanna meet up at the show/s it'd be cool If you could maybe cope with a couple of hardcore English Prince freaks for company send me a Prince.org note.

I had the same problem that you did. I attended two shows on this tour alone because I couldn't find anyone who liked Prince enough to travel and spend money to see him.
I asked 4 people. 3 said they weren't interested. The 4th said he would go, but he backed out when I told him the ticket would cost $125.

Here's a question I have based on the ticket pricing complaint.
If the tickets are "will-call," and Prince wants his "fams" to have the seats in the house closest to the stage for both sound-check and show, shouldn't that mean pre-sale tickets are only offered at one flat fee price? Why should there still be price differences if all the fams are supposed to wind up in the same place? If the tickets are flat rated, then I do think that fee should be under $100, and this price break should be one of the "perks" for being a club member. Bear in mind I am asking this question without knowledge of what Ticketmaster has listed the prices as for these upcoming concerts. Paul
