The box office opens before 7 I know...get in your seats at 7, cause for the 8/13 show he played a soundcheck that not many people saw. Most folks were getting food or drinks and thought it was a recording playing over the loudspeakers. How surprised we were to see Prince on stage playing The Ride and No Diggity at 7:15 The Soundcheck lasted about 25 min...

I know!! Most people didn't witness the soundcheck last night, but I was one of 'em who did!!! It was hot wasn't it, especially when he was playing Sex Machine on the keys over that nice funk groove!!

Yeah, that soundcheck was off the da hook. My sister and I got to talk to him while the band was playing. I told him it was her first Prince concert and he gave her his tamborine he was playing with. She will remember that night for rest of her life. She has call 20 times already to thank me for the best birthday present ever.

Cool for your sister! I didn't even bother walking up there to interact with him. Figured security would've stopped me anyway. I was in Sec. 3 row O, but I'm sure they would've prevented me from getting but so close to the stage, even for this soundcheck. Reading your post, though, makes me wish I tried. smile

Will Call at 4pm. Its on F Street. Look for the big gray box/sign.

Separate lines for NPGMC and regular will call. Go to the window with your Last Name.

See you there!

Thanks for all of your replies. They're MUCH appreciated. I picked up my tickets at 6:00 and could hear the sound check going on. We were in our seats by 7:05 and the sound check was over so we didn't get the added little bonus you all did. Oh well, we tried. Thanks again!

Peace!
