ONE MORE THING: I kno that ur gonna think i'm nuts or lost my mind, but..... I think Prince likes me, *giggle* (cuz just think...if someone at the FIRST concert spotted u out from the crowed, then pointed, smiled, and waved, BUT then gave u the deepest stare in the eyes like their studying ur face to make a mental memory in their mind. And on top of that make ppl turn around and look at u and tryin to see what and why that person is staring at u so much and with a flirtatious grin on their face. Then turn around and at this concert, sends subliminal messages through nudging and ON PURPOSE side swippin when there was plenty of room on either side to avoid contact. And best of all show their emotions through the hardness of a usually soft to tolerable high 5 and meant to leave u numb, and red handed! LOL

Just a warning though: you're young and you've got (hopefully!) a lot of Prince shows and aftershows ahead of you. Try not to take this stuff so personally; otherwise, if he ever disses you at an afterparty or something, you'll be crushed.

This thread is long as hell, but congratulations. You seem very happy, and damn what these haters have to say about how you interpreted your night.

Here's the story:

My mom and I went to the concert and as soon as we got in there, I went and looked for the head of security guy. My mom spotted him out b4 me and ran to tell me he's on the side. So I went over and saw and asked him if he remembers me from Uniondale, NY with the jeans issue. He said that he did and smiled that I wore a dress then and told me to follow him. He took me to this back area and wrapped a purple and white band around my wrist, and said, "Alright U finally got ur chance cuz ur going on stage!" and I nearly flipped but managed to keep my cool.. So when it was time to go up there I started to get nervous. All the people in my row padded me and wished me luck on stage as I made my way out of my section. When I got there, I waited til they let us on, but while waiting, Prince was performing a song and came over to that side of the stage. He looked straight out and then eventually made eye contact with me! I threw my hands up in the air and waved from the floor. And he started to sing a verse or two while lookin at me and then edged away. He did that twice to me as well as others who were up front .

When it was time to go I was nervous to the core! I tripped on the wires with my heels, and then slowly climbed the steps. The first hand to reach out and help me on was Maceo Parker! He grabbed my left elbow and said "Hi" and I said hi back. Then I went to stand on one of the platforms and started to dance. Just seeing the audience was overwhelming and gave me instant courage to come out and dance and have fun though usually I am a VERY shy person (just not when it comes to the internet of course! ) As I was dancin, Prince started to come my way! I was like OMG here he is! LOL All dressed in white he glided right by me and started to sing out to the crowd. He's my height and I thought he look Xtremly sexy!! then after he was done, he turned around and made eye contact with me again with those big beautiful brownish green eyes! and went passed me again! As the songs played I noticed that he was mainly hanging out near my platform and the one on the right.

He kept passing me and passing me givin me look after look! THEN! one time he was passing by and now, I KNOW THAT THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM TO GET AROUND ME, BUT HE GOT CLOSE TO ME AND TOTALLY SIDE SWIPED ME!!!!! I FELT THE MAN'S FREAKIN CHEST! While dancing I was standing next to John Blackwell and I manged to wave at him and he smiled, and nodded at me while bangin on those drums! So that made me happy too! Then Prince came up to me again and stood by my side, cheering and watchin John go to work on those drums, all the while he looked at the corner of his eye to see me and how close I was to him I guess. And then like 1min later he walked off.

Then Prince made his way back to my platform and got in front and tried to make the audience dance. So me and the two girls sharing the platform did the dance with him so I know that musta looked cool from the audiences view. But the next big thing was after MORE EYE CONTACT AND SMIRKS, during the last song "Take Me With U" for the dancers to stay on stage, at the end Prince was coming my way to get off and made contact with me. I then said to him, I LOVE U in a slightly raised voice so he can hear me. He litterally STOPPED IN HIS TRACKS, LOOKED AT ME, AND THEN GAVE THAT FLIRTATIOUS GRIN AND RAISED HIS HAND. I then rose my hand and he gave me the HARDEST HIGH 5 I EVER FELT! It hurt soo bad that my poor hand turned red! LOL! but feeling his warm and rough hand against my right hand was unbeliveable!

But I had the feeling that he was responding to my "I love u" through the high 5. Cuz just lookin in his eyes and his facial expression looked like he was trying to say, "Hey, I love u too" and smacked the life outta my hand so hard to maybe prove that he heard what I said and could only show his feelings through his high 5 knowin that he's a married man. BUT! that's what I picked up from it especially with all the nudging, side swipping, and eye contact he made with me on stage. And also since I was THE ONLY girl who got a high 5 at the end, when there was two other nice girls behind me and closer to the staircase than me but totally got left out in the cold after he smacked my hand numb! LOL! and then sadly he made his way off stage... Afterwards when it was time to get off, Mike Scott I believe helped me off stage by takin my hand in his sweaty hand and said to me "U looked great up there Baby!" and I was shocked that he even said that to me and I smiled and said "Thanks!"

When I got back to my seat, it was like I was a celebrity! Every1 wanted to touch me and shake my hand and congradulate me for going on stage and getting the best out of Prince. But just being up there standing next to the man I had a crush on since the age of 5, and also a living legend meant the world to me. Standing soo close to P that I could see the sweat on his forhead, rolling down the side of his famous mole cheek and also behind his neck. Seeing the "layers" of stage makeup on his face and a much needed eye liner touch up on his gorgeous eyes. And SINCE I AM THE BOOTY GIRL I checked his booty out for my own eyes and was ready to die happy when he was facin the audience right in front of me and started to shake his butt while getting the crowd to dance. His white scooped butt pants showcased his booty perfectly! I wanted to slap it cuz I was litterally 2 feet away but slapped it in my mind Overall, It was a dream come true and a memory that I will NEVER EVER forget!

Well I hope I do have many shows to attend to in the future. But I am just enjoying what happend to me that night cuz in reality u NEVER forget what happend ur first time no matter what it was. So until *next time* I will live off this and savor every moment of my experience. Normally, I am used to seeing others get the chance of a lifetime to go up and do whatever they wanted to do and never thought it would someday happen to me. I decided at the last min. to wear that dress cuz I was split down the middle. But something told me to wear it in the end, and luckily my intuition was right. And afterwards while talkin to my mom in the hotel room at 2am she was just blown away at how see got to see a thin, african american girl with long black hair, and carmel color skin dressed in her mother's favorite dress on stage with her first crush since 1989. And finally getting the chance to come face to face with her or "my" dream guy, and luckily I turned out to be her daughter!
