getting on stage

Can anyone give me advice on how to be one of the chosen few to get on stage at a concert?

Wear a cute dress and don't ask the guards because everyone does that and it seems to annoy them and have an aisle seat is the advice I would give. .

All of the above.. PLUS.. have fun.... The one security person came by me.. (I was on the Aisle and dancing my butt off and singing..... He said "if you were not wearing Jeans you would be on stage".....

They kinda watch to see which girls are "into" it too..... eek)
GOOD LUCK!!! biggrin

That definitely helps, I'm sure. But I swear, if they had pulled anyone from my section on Tuesday night, it would've been me. I was havin a blast from the moment I got there, I was dressed cute, I was sitting on the aisle, etc. etc. etc. They didn't pull anyone from my section. sad I have no idea how they make their decisions. Oh well, I had a great time anyway!

Well I am sure you were having a great time and dancing etc.. but you gotta remember.. they only call a few people up there..... (when you think of how many girls were actually there)
So your chances are slim no matter how you look, or how much you were having fun.....
I got there really early and we were down by our seats before 7:30.. Let me tell you.. ALOT of girls were all ready down there kissing up to the Security.. being "cute" and trying to get attention.....
Not sure if it works or not.
Me personally... I would rather dress comfortable and enjoy myself than worry about trying to look "sexy" so MAYBE I get on stage.. the chances are So slim..
My husband was up set when the Sec. told me If I would not of had jeans on I would of been up..... He told me the night before I should wear some other type of pants.. but I like Jeans... I am comfortable in jeans.. its summer for God Sakes.. lol
I can understand them not wanting girls on stage with old raggy jeans and T-shirts on.. but a nice pair of jeans and a nice top is just as nice as a jean skirt and top.. oh well.....

heh.....I probably should've clarified myself a little better. That just sounded egotistical! lol What I meant was that I was having a BLAST before the show, and I swear, everyone sitting around me just looked so dead - even while Prince was on stage. I totally stuck out because I was mixed in with such a mellow group of people. I never saw anyone handing out wristbands. They didn't pick anyone from my section and I didn't even see anyone from the sections next to me get picked. And we were there SUPER early. You'd think they would've at least picked one or two women from each section near the stage.

You have to wear something that will get attention. I saw Prince pick out a girl who was dressed in a jacket and pants suit with NPG all over it. The guards had already let about a dozen girls onstage, then Prince spotted "NPG girl" in the first few rows and let her come up onstage. The funny thing about it is that this girl had been trying all nite to get closer to the stage. Her seat wasn't that close, so she kept coming into the aisle and trying to get closer and the guard in that area kept sending her back.

She just kept trying until she finally got close enough so Prince could see her outfit, and bingo, she got onstage.

Certain Sections Seem to Be Picked. Personally,I Don't Care about Being onstage. I dance and I'm onstage all the time. I Don't NEED to Always be On....I'd rather Watch Prince than Girls onstage anyway...

I danced on stage after I ran up the stairs when the gate was opened!!! I told my husband that I was going to dance on stage and I did! I had a blast! I will never forget looking Prince in the eye and his hand reaching out to touch mine. I still haven't washed it.
