The longest day ever! - Anyone goin' to see P tonight?

I am so damn excited about the concert tonight, that I actually feel sick! I've never been this close before (front row - though according to sassybritches, there may be a row in front of us). I've been drooling over this man as one of my favorite artists/ performers for 22 years, and he's going to be within spitting distance! Though I've seen him twice on this tour already, I'm going crazy thinking about tonight!!

Anyway, if you're there and you see me, say hi! I'll be wearing mostly black. I have long black hair which will most likely end up in pigtails by the end of the night and I'll have a hot pink flower in my hair. I'll no doubt be drenched in sweat and grinning from ear to ear. biggrin

biggrin Haven't all women who can admit to Prince introducing them to their sexuality say they have drooled? I can and I'm not ashamed of that fact. I will be at the Allstate tonight and I'm so happy this is the fifth and last concert in Chicago.

It would have been perfect if this gig was rescheduled with the July gigs. I need to get on with my life, but of course, Prince has me putting it on hold. Damn You, Prince! I mean that latter exclamatory in the sincerest of compliments.

By the way, I'm in Section 5 Row 3, so Prince will be playing towards my end the majority of the night.

I'll be there, also front row! I came back for this from the West Coast. Chicago is and always will be home, but I make my residence on the West Coast these days. I flew on 2 planes gettin' in at 4 a.m. this morn. I used 50,000 frequent flier miles 2 make it back here. 2night, like the ORIGINAL 1st night in Chicago, I'll be over by B'Well. If U see me, DON'T walk on by, holla at cha boy!

Since I'm residin' on the West Coast now, I have 3 shows coming: 2 in Seattle, 1 in Portland! Rock hard in a Funky Place! I was there 4 the 1st show in Chicago, I'm here for what could be his last stop here this tour and the funk keeps rollin'! Last show (1st night Chicago) he was pointiun' at me workin it in the front row! 2night, perhaps the stage is mine! razz

Look 4 the dude in the red hat smile

So, if anyone recalls, Prince had Mayte choreograph an NPG Ballet. They had 2 per4mances, one in Joliet. I went 2 that show, P was there with Mayte. We got seated, and I got up 2 go 2 the restroom. As I walked out of the restroom there was comotion toward the front of the theater. P had arrived with entourage. After the immediate, small cheering section at the front of the place, there was no fan presence. He was headed up the stairs 2 take his position with Mayte to watch the performance. As he made his way up, I yelled 2 him Vegetarians Rule! and he turned around and smiled at me B4 heading up the stairs.

I think that was the last of Ballet Tour!

This story was out of place, butt I had 2 share an Illinois memory! Oh, look at me, I'm getting all verklempt! razz

Get out!!! That's awesome! I'm a vegan and I was actually planning on writing "vegans rock" on my chest in lipstick (but small enough so that it's not overwhelmingly tacky)! Yes, I know; I'm a dork. I have a pair of ripped jeans I wear sometimes and when I do, I write "vegan" on the knee. biggrin

During some of the makeup shows, my sister went with her friend. She lives here and so it was a lil easier than me going through hell and over purple water 2 get here. She used 2 talk smack back in the day, but now she's gettin edumafied to the Phunk! She saw it and said that is the best ish I ever seen! So she went 2 the aftershow, too!

Prince bites them and they turn! The funky nosefaratu! Yount!
