This was a pretty glowing review (duh, it IS a kick-ass show), but I found this part to be quite interesting, and definitely true.

At every show I've been to except for the first couple, I run for the bathroom and concessions the minute Renato starts his new age crap.

Excerpt: "About an hour in, Prince disappeared for a brief interlude. A full intermission might have been best though because what came during this instrumental interlude - the piano player must have campaigned long and hard for the extended solo - would have warmed the insipid heart of Yanni, and charmed the most devoted of Kenny G fans. If it was intended as a chance for all present to catch their collective breath, it did the trick. Maybe too well."

Anyone else agree with the paper on this? Renato seemed so promising to me, but Jesus, that solo is SOOOOO boring, and the sound he uses on the synth is just .... I don't know, icky? In my opinion, of course!! It's still a great show, no doubt about that.

I just know I'm gonna be so jealous when he finally hits Europe and starts to play some other songs.
