17 Days in Toronto on 6/28?? Someone posted at the club that Prince did 17 days at 6/28's Toronto show.

Differences between 1st and 2nd night: He left out 'The One/Fallin' and inserted 'whole lotta love'. He went pretty guitar crazy at one point. I loved it of course. For the encore, he did 'the beautifulones, nothing compares and Purple rain' on the first night. He did 'call my name' and 'purple rain' last night. I was tired during the 2nd show. It's amazing that he's 46 and able to pull of taht kind of energy. S Are you talking about his show last night in Toronto 7/28? Yes he sure did! I was very in heven! 17 days is a GREAT song! | |

Hmm,,not to sound like a total dork,,,but I dont think Ive ever heard that one! & the only song I didnt recognise was the one about "Raindrops"? where he told everyone to Snap thier fingers? It was a really nice song,,,what CD is it from?  | |

That was the song with the finger snaps last night.....it can be found on third CD on The Hits.....

Yes that was the song wondrful song. I had the best time second row right behind JOhn. Prince was always coming to that side and we made some nice eye contact lol. Then a whole Bunch of us went to C-Lounge after. It was pretty cool. We saw him couple of times looking fine.

.....WOW, Hope Prince plays this in Denver.....I Love the Song and especially the acoustic set of the show.....I just made a post the other day about what songs prince should play in the acoustic set.....this was one of my choices.....I hope he plays this in Denver, it will be my 9 year old Daughter

Weird, in Chicago he did the "finger-snap" thing but no 17 days. Looks like he's finally gonna change the setlist up a bit, even if it's just adding one song it's a big deal at this point!! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I LOOOOVE 17 Days!!!! I'd be so thrilled if he played that at the last Chicago show. He didn't play it either of the other two nights that I went. "We're all members of the animal kingdom

17 DAYS Has been my favorite Prince Song since it was released as a B-side in '84. Through the years, It has maintained its position at #1 to me.
I'm glad he has added it to the current setlist, but I am EXTREMELY JEALOUS that the 4 times I have seen P throughout this tour..I COULD NEVER HEAR IT. And to add a little salt to the wound, I yelled out.."17 DAYS!!!" at last weeks Chicago HOB aftershow..and he didn't throw me a bone... I really hope that P will release a CD and DVD of this tour, and maybe I'll get to hear 17 Days then...  *White, Black, Puerto Rican..Everybody just a-freakin'...-Prince(1980)* | |

Yeah...I was at the Chicago show when he asked everyone to snap and did the "raindrops" thing, but it never turned in to "17 Days." Hmmph.
Makes me want to score a ticket for Tuesday's final Chicago show. I know there are a few still left. Perhaps 17 Days is now a part of the "regular set" for these next few weeks. Could be worth a shot to hear it live! Keith/Kacey | |
