Does Prince do much dancing on this tour?

just wanted to know if any signature dancing is being done on this tour....sounds like from earlier reports he's not doing that this time.....is he like MichaelJordan? can't fly anymore? but still good?

Don't know if he can or can't, but for whatever the reasons, there's certainly not nearly as much dancing as there has been in previous tours. Prince is getting older, so I would expect him to slow down a bit. But I honestly think the reason he isn't dancing as much is because he's focusing most of his attention on actually playing his parts. The band is very small, but very tight. There's no excess fat with this band, which means Prince can't spend all his time dancing around and looking pretty, he HAS to play.

All of the above, and the music doesn't really lend itself to dancing all over the stage, it's a funky groove that demands lots of head bobbing and slow, funky footwork! While I missed that cute ass shakin', it was much more appropriate and fit the mood of the music better.

He does do the classic "microphone seduction" dance late in the set but the show is verrrry laid back so he doesn't hop around as much.
