This quickly became a favorite of mine at the concert...I liked when he played 'Cream' & 'Sometimes it snows in April'...'On the couch' was nice' and I could just imagine the others I haven't heard yet...
I would like to hear 'REFLECTION'. [This message was edited Mon Jul 26 18:58:05 2004 by Starmist7]

He sang Pink Cashmere in Ft Lauderdale! So you might hear it again if the mood strikes him. And its one of my all time favorites so I was so excited. Hope he sings it again in Atlanta! If the wind blew all the petals from your precious red rose, would you be afraid of what you'd find inside?...

I Love U In Me, I Hate U, One Kiss At A Time, Curious Child, She Loves Me 4 Me, Blue Light, Joy in Repetition, Elephants & Flowers, When 2 R in Love and Starfish & Coffe would be my dream acoustic set. I have tickets for both Friday and Saturday's show in Houston and will dream for the next 5 days. Of course I will be thrilled with whatever he sings.

I have no idea if he coud do this...BUT .... I'd love to see him do 'goodbye'.
It amazes me that someone could come up with such an amazing song and never feel the need to play it live.

I would love to hear "Pink Cashmere" and "Forever In My Life".
As for Alphabet St (one of my favs!) - he did that in the acoustic set both nights that I saw him. "We're all members of the animal kingdom
Leave your brothers and sisters in the sea" "If U had the chance 2 see the future would U try?"

I was just thinking about this thread.....
I would've loved to hear him do "So Blue" in the acoustic set. One of the few songs from "For You" that I really dig. That whole album is so incredibly different from anything else he's ever done. I still can't figure out how "Soft and Wet" made it on there. But yeah, "So Blue" would be a fantastic addition, IMO. "We're all members of the animal kingdom
Leave your brothers and sisters in the sea" "If U had the chance 2 see the future would U try?"

I would love to hear "I Hate U" and "She's Always In My Hair".... "If God one day struck me blind, your beauty I'd still see. LOVEs too weak to describe just what you mean to me."

After seeing his show twice, off the top of my head:
Anotherloverholenyohead - He displays a great bluesy style on the acoustic guitar during this set. We all know Prince is a genius, so it's no suprise, but it's worth noting that a solo acoustic performance demands a whole different set of skills from a guitarist, and he's great at it. Anyway, it's interesting the way the solo guitar arrangements reveal how bluesy the core of a lot of his songs are, regardless of how innovative and singular and just plain strange (in a good way, of course) his recorded arrangements of them may have been. Anyway, Anotherloverholenyohead is a favorite of mine and I think it would work perfectly this way. Damn U - The other thing I've loved in the acoustic sets is hearing his voice in a really intimate arrangement, esp. the ballads, and I've always loved the vocals on that song. Vicki Waiting - Not his best lyrically (not bad, but it's a movie soundtrack song, after all), but it's also got that right blend of a bluesy groove, a pop hook, and nice melody to work well in that kind of arrangement
