Following the 3rd concert at the Allstate Arena, Prince & The NPG will
per4m an aftershow at the Chicago House of Blues this Saturday, July
24.

Tickets go onsale Friday, July 23, 10am - 10pm CT in the BACKSTAGE PASS
room. General Admission, Will Call Only. And the ticket limit is 1 so
we can get as many members in as we can. Non-members can buy tickets
from HOB/Ticketmaster also starting 2morrow.

well, at 75 bucks a piece and only one ticket per member, i don't think i'll be there either. it is so stupid to allow member concert tickets to be sold in pairs but aftershow tickets are single sales only. i guess we're supposed to ditch our company after the concert?

But if the place ony holds 1000 people and we all KNOW there are a ton of members in Chicago, it makes sense to me. Why should Cousin Billy who is not a member get a member ticket while a real member is standing outside?

I tried, but I can't find a buy tix link by P aftershow. I have never gone to HOB before so I am not familiar with their system. It says 7/23 on sale, but no link!! What's up with that??? Anyone help a sista out with the info??? I'm freaking out trying to get my Hubby's gen admission tix!!!

i'm going to the saturday show (i owe big sloppy kisses to TOFKA), but i wish they'd have announced this at the same time as the afterparties - i felt like last night's party at excalibur was kind of a bust...the DJ was "eh", i wasn't really crazy about the atmosphere, and the most exciting thing i experienced was a glimpse of prince looking down at us like a deer trapped in the headlights (snappy little outfit, though). i think i'd rather have saved my fifty bucks and put it toward an actual afterSHOW. i'm learning more and more that if it ain't at berlin on sunday nights, it ain't a prince party....

With regard to the one ticket limit... who knows, the HOB may have even mandated it with some type of contractual clause. Venues can be weird with things like this. Of course, Prince may have also wanted tickets available to the general public knowing that NPG members alone would've filled up the hall (which, of course in our opinion as members, is how it should be anyway, right? : ) ) Just a couple of thoughts on the subject that may or may not be the case....
