Prince, please read this thread I am absolutely begging you to sing my 2 favorite Prince songs of all time at the Chicago concert on June 29th. Please, please, please sing The Beautiful Ones and Adore. I drove two hours to your first stop in Illinois on April 10th in Champaign, but you didn't sing either of them. Please don't break my heart again. Those 2 songs are the primary reason I am a fan.
Thanks. Peace and Blessings. It's 1984 All Over Again!

I was ready to clown you when I read the title of your thread but I totally feel you on this. I am dying to hear Condition of the Heart.

I would not have been so mad if he didn't go to the very next stop in Indy and sang BOTH of them. I almost cried when I read the setlist; almost as bad as when I read The Time opened for him in Atlanta. I'm praying that The Chi gets some love this weekend since this weekend is also the beginning of the Taste of Chicago, and people like Teena Marie and Stephanie Mills will be in town. Thanks. Peace and Blessings. You may be in luck. He did The Beautiful Ones as an encore in St. Paul on the 17th and he did Adore during the acoustic set. Hopefully he keeps that setlist for you in Chicago! 'You must first be a Prince before you can be King'

Oh, and by the way, Prince...if you could drop by the Old Town School of Folk Music on Saturday afternoon and sit in a few songs with the Magnetic Fields before your show that night, I wouldn't be mad atcha.
(hey, I know it's a shamelessly unrealistic request, but it doesn't hurt to ask anyway, does it?)

(hey, I know it's a shamelessly unrealistic request, but it doesn't hurt to ask anyway, does it?) All we can do is have faith. I heard that he does in fact read the feedback from his concerts, so who knows? Maybe I'll luck up and get to hear both of them. Then I can die happy. It's 1984 All Over Again!

Well if P. really does read these as well as the reviews, I hope he reads this before the July 20th concert in NY. I will be bringing a sign I made for him that I drew from the Rolling Stones cover that I hope he will see, like, and maybe even want to hang because its a portrait and definatley "wall worthy"! and some flowers with a special* note inside that I HOPE he at least reads and hopefully answers since he will have a five day break after that performance.
So if anyone is going ,and you see a girl with these things and looks like the singer Aaliyah, that's me! Angelcake24!!! Rhonda S. Rhonda S.

I went to both Dallas shows this year and I was very satisfied with everything he sang, I wish he had done some songs from Emancipation but he did not. Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. Haters are annoyed and roll thier eyes when klhk is paid a compliment. ask yourself, are u a hater?

And, Prince, while you're at it, could you please do "She Gave Her Angels", "17 Days", and "Adore" on the August 24th show in Philly, too? Pretty please?

He has done both of those songs for 4 out of the 5 shows I've been to. You are in luck.

he didn't sing the beautiful ones or adore at the Kansas City concert. He did however do acoustic guitar versions of raspbery beret and little red corvette... I wish he did do adore I probably would have lost my drawers!! Shake....shake, shake, shake.
