Again, Larry Graham fucked his head up really bad. But it's also the fault of his fans. When I saw Prince at a small show here in NYC, he was on stage talking about how Larry showed him the right way to live by not cursing any more. Then suddenly, some stupid bitch screams out to him, "You're beautiful!" When Prince hears shit like that, he feels he's doing a good thing.

So for fuck's sake people, quit encouraging him to be a mindless dick head. When he comes out and says something stupid, don't applaud it, discourage it. Yeah i don't think its necessary to quit swearing. I know pastor's and ministers who do it. Farrakhan even does it when he gets on a roll. I bet Jesus would cuss a foul mf out w/ the quickness. I miss the cussing too...ya know, one of the reasons he gave for not cussing anymore was the negativity or anger contained in those words. But art is a conceptual recreation of life and darkness is an important part of life. To cast all negativity aside necessarily turns everything an unbalanced sweet-and-plastic. Songs like Face Down are impossible without some dark edge.

If he ever remasters his catalog, will he release nothing but wal-mart versions of everything?! EWWWW....

Are ya'll telling me that when Prince sings his old songs, he replaces the original cuss words, or does he just not play those songs anymore and doesn't write new songs with cus words.

I can understand someone trying to cus less or eliminate it alltogether. But, when the King of Fuck changes up his old lyrics, that's just wrong.

Some of my most favourate music of Prince's is the non-PC, ridiculous, absolutely foul, rude, cheeky music. I absolutely adore it in fact. I'm talking of course about his 'rude boy' era including Let's Pretend We're Married, Head and Sister. These are the best shit I can conceive and I miss the ability of Prince to do them.

Then again, he's onto something else now which doesn't require swearing, even if he wanted to. The lack of swearwords would only show if he returned to the music and the style of music that he did in far gone years... which he won't.
