Louisville Soundcheck/Show It was a great show.. The soundcheck alone was worth it.
We got to the venue at 3:30 driving from Nashville. We didn't get a hotel room, so that was our only option. It was so cold outside.. where we stood for about 2 hours. And its also SO funny how people show up right at 5:30 and get in front of you. For any of you out there reading this who does stuff like that- your an asshole. I don't cut in front of people.. and if your OBSESSED enough with Prince to totally disrespect people, then you are a freak and I dont want you that close to me anyway. Now. Sorry bout that I'm sorry but I have a HUGE problem with the no id check thing. Billy was just handing out passes and NOT EVEN looking up at you. I talked about this with fellow NPGMC members at the show, and there were people there who DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TICKETS! So if your going to soundcheck anytime soon, make sure to bring your friends, they'll all be allowed in! after a very extensive search As far as the show, I'll let someone else post a set list. But it was GREAT! I had the second row (pit row b) and was sitting behind RainbowRay and in front of Aquasomething No aftershow announced, RainbowRay went and asked and they said "nowhere in town." That was a let down, but after that show I was almost ready to go. Anna Stesia pretty much drained all my emotional energy. I might have sounded negative, but this did not ruin my show at all. The only thing that might have been a downer to the show itself was some drunk old old old old lady in front of me and her husband ( who was in suit) were like pretty much going at it. and then takumi gave her a cowbell and i was just like, oh no. By the end I was like, sweet mother of god if she hits it one more time its going up her nose. It was all fun, and what I expected and a lil more. btw- prince was black pants, black shirt and a grayish suit jacket over it with his NPG symbol on. He did look very well. and it didn't look like he had too much make up on. twitter: @newpowersoul

"It went for about an hour.. as it was about to end, someones cell phone rang, and Prince answered it."
Just a little clarification, the conversation wasn't really tht long, we were let into the soundcheck around 6:00 and ushered out a right about 7:00, so they could get ready for the show. and the lady's phone that went off, if i heard right, was her ex-husband. P answered it, said she was busy, and asked if he was coming down to party with us, and the guy hung up prince never told the guy who he was..... pretty funny....

Well the person cell phone that went off was my friend and on the caller id it came up as her ex husband number but it was her daughter calling. Also during the sound check prince aske if any of us knew how to play guitar and there where three people that were pulled up on stage one of the people i briefly meet before going in and was good. Another one was one i knew from one of my other friends at the show.. The show was great

Actually I am the one who's cellphone went off.....I was sitting right in front of Prince and he was sitting on the steps and my phone rang....and he just kind of looked at me so I asked him "would U like to talk to who is calling me and he said sure" I looked at the caller ID and it was my ex-hubbys# so I handed him the phone and he put the mic up to the phone and said "Hello"...."she's busy right now".."we're discussing urs and hers future relationship" and then they hung up on him.....well after the souncheck I went outside and called them back and it was actually my 11 yr old daughter that called...I asked her did a strange man answer my phone and she said yes....I asked if she knew who it was...she said no...I told her it was Prince...she said no it wasn't....I asked her...how U could U hang up on Prince??...then I had her put her dad on the phone and told him the story...he was tripping....LOL

We were let in the doors at 5:15 and the sound check was soon after maybe 15 minutes or less, it sure didn't star at 6:00. I didn't keep asking my friend what time it was but I think your friends watch was wrong. I don't know what time it was over but it sure was more then an hour long.....I don't know much about what time is was but I know you're wrong about the time lol. And you could have chilled in your car or went to get a drink down the St. you didn't have to go stand in line at 3:30.....that's all on you. As for you not liking the people pushing, etc....I'm with you on that...what you do is go stand in line about 20 minutes before time to go in and hang out then when the freaks start running just let them go and you just walk in like a normal person would as you enjoy talking to the others around you and go in all cool like. If you don't like something you need to make sure you're not all in it yourself.

Actually before you start telling what I "COULD" do. you should know everything that happened. I was with people (including the driver of the car) who REFUSED to leave, and who wouldn't go back to the car. I am not from Louisville, so I don't feel comfortable walking around it by myself. I'm not as stupid as you might be or think.
And furthermore, I'm not all in it, and I don't understand how you could think that. I was chilling and talking to people, but you know, when people are just walking in front of you like psycho hose beasts, its hard to ignore. When people are PUSHING you in the dark to get to the front, its hard to ignore. I didn't push a PERSON, and I found a seat without killing anyone in the 3rd row for soundcheck. You must be one of those people to be SO defensive If you don't like my thread, start your own. If you wanna confront or start some shit with me, send me an orgnote. But beyond that, I'm not posting anymore. twitter: @newpowersoul

ElectricChair - thanks for the great review! I am glad you mentioned my experience on stage with Prince - I don't think anyone at work would believe me.

Nobody checked my ID in Cleveland when I went into soundcheck...they just asked "which one of you is a member" and I said I was. (I am.)
