See what others write, but my impression is that there is a significant mark-up for items at the show and that your most economical route would be through the club, shipping costs included.
I am still sleeping on the couch over the $75 tambourine I bought for my daughter at the Detroit show.....

I thought they were sixty bucks, which is still pretty steep, but I was considering it...seventy five bucks, though???? Uh-uh, that's just crazy talk.

The shits expensive. I think the cheapest t-shirt was $40 and most were more. A spaghetti strap tank was $45. CRAZY.

I didn't price everything at the San Antonio show back on June 9th, but I saw a few Ts for $35, including the one I bought of P playing his acoustic guitar. Also, the symbol and guitar pick necklaces were $15 apiece, $10 for the symbol wristband, and $10 for the symbol keychain.

Apparently the prices are always fluid in NPG merchandise land... No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

at the milwaukee wisconsin show things were outrageous too. i spent 35 dollars on a shirt that said true funk soldier and that was the cheapest priced shirt too. prices ranged from 35 dollars to 100 for an ugly pullover sweater type thing.

Are there vendors selling "unofficial" stuff outside the arenas? And, if so, how are those prices? *****************************************

i bought a t-shirt after the show was over (the black one with all the tour dates on the back) and it was only 10 bux. my advice is wait til the show's over b/c the people outside just want to get rid of them so they sell em cheap

I was at the garden show last night and I must tell that I almost fainted at the merchandise stand.I walked up with my friend and I was going to buy my daughter a small T shirt with the symbol on the front.I asked the woman how much and she told me 45$. I settled for the 5$ days of wild CD. His club is much cheaper. The shows mark everything way up.

The merchandise being sold at Prince's concerts aren't too outrageously priced. It's pretty much what I expect to pay these days. And the prices are a little cheaper than what Madonna is charging. Her tourbooks are $30 (!) and she had several T-shirts that were $75.I think the "cheapest" T-shirts were $40...lol...
Bottom line....bring your credit card to the shows

At almost every concert I go to,there are people selling "homemade" T-shirts for no more than $20.In many cases, the shirts look identical to the more expensive stuff being sold inside the venue. But you didn't hear this from me....lol

Nevermind the $338 for two tix! HOWEVER, our man Prince went easy on us with the tix and merch. I paid $35 for the shirt and $25 for the tourbook. I may be off 5 bux, but Prince is and was definately worth every single cent! He always gives you your money's worth. Madonna was cool, and good. But I've already forgotten her show since I've been to Prince's! Come on Saturday!!! Twice in one week, schweeeeet!! Purple Hippies Bang Yo Head On The 1!Dance On, Fellow Purple People!
