Black Comedian's Show Stopped by White Woman

A Black comedian, Affion Crockett, had his show interrupted by a white woman, up in her feelings, who was offended by his routine. At a comedy club. She literally got up out of her chair, and instead of leaving, she got on the fucking stage to confront him. (Links to a Twitter user who was there and recorded the confrontation. It's 94 seconds.)

Then she has a puzzled look on her face when escorted off, and called a Karen. She's utterly confused (and hopefully more than a little embarrassed) as to why the guy isn't listening to her or understanding her position. Obviously, her opinion is more important and for folks to not get it is just out of her purview. How can no one see what she sees? At a comedy club.

People act like the real world is Twitter or Facebook. But on Twitter and Facebook no one can punch you in your throat.

Here's why it's racist: If it was a white man, she wouldn't have done that. Why? Because white supremacy always dictates that white people are in control of everything, including the Black body. So if any Black body isn't doing what the white person wants, then they have a right to change that as to satiate their discomfort.

That's exactly what happened here. She believed she's entitled to dictate what anyone, but especially a Black man who is trash to her anyway, what to do with their lives.

It's why every other white woman thinks they can control a BIPOC just living their fucking lives, because the white woman is bothered. It's why the people BBQing were called out, it's why a young Black girl selling water was tattled on, it's why a Black man doing nothing but walking in the park and bird watching had the cops called on him, and the white lady's tears were weaponized against him (as was his own skin color). White woman have always been at the front of the line, and believe the world revolves not just around them but for them. So if anyone disrupts their flow, well that's just a big ol' goddamn offense to her sensibilities. How dare a comedian tell a sex joke?! The nerve!!!

And no, you don't have to know who the comedian is for the situation to be glaringly obvious.

The saying is true: There's nothing more dangerous that a slightly inconvenienced white woman.

You're diverting from the facts of this situation, almost as if my original post wasn't read in full. I don't care about white women going after white men. Not the issue here. They ain't in this story. Not even the security guard was white here, nor the other woman on stage trying to get her to leave.

It doesn't matter what the comedy routine was - it's a comedy club. She felt she could change everyone around her to suit her, instead of her removing herself from a situation that made her uncomfortable.

But in the video, if watched in full, this part of the routine was apparently sexual in nature. A comedian talking about sex is not exactly new territory.

And just so we're not throwing things to see what sticks, and being perfectly clear on the subject matter: "Believe her" isn't about an old white lady being offended at a comedy show. That's about rape and sexual assault. That has ZERO to do this this post. I'm not sure why it would even be brought up. "Yeah, but what about...."

This woman wasn't raped. She was up in her white lady feelings at a comedy show. And she felt entitled enough to stop the fucking show so she could be coddled.

Not even sure why you responded to that. None of what they said makes any sense whatsoever, which is why I'm fully convinced it's just someone trying to troll the Org. They've been through what, 2 or 3 names at this point? I can't even take it seriously. And don't.

Regardless of her politics, or his race, the ONLY acceptable reaction to her being offended by his comedy is to get up and leave. Period.

Any other reaction, like going on stage to confront him, is childish and entitled and she should be ashamed of herself.

I'm not diverting from the facts, I did ask for more info. The video link you shared, indicated that she was reacting to Sexual expression. I didn't hear anything about race. She said she was married and married to a man and that the sexual communication from the comedian was offending her

.

It does matter, what the routine was. I've had a good number of white folk over my lifetime try to spin something racially to cause me to react. I know how to discerne the difference. Everything isn't racial. But there has to be something specific to make it racial.

.

Was she an A hole, according to what you typed? Yes it sound like it

what she did was a typical liberal move, which is be offended by something and sit in that space to change everyone instead of leave. Right in this forum and on this site. People who get triggered by a discussion and come in, to derail it or tell us/shame us to not talk about it

.

She sound similar but not as bad as the Trans white woman that Dave Chapelle talked about

was that about race or trans issues?

In this video the comedian explains that it was jokes about sexual acts that offended her.

Not to you, but that doesn't negate the reality of the situation. It just means some people refuse to see it. I can just about guarantee you and people like you that she's never done this at a white man's show.

Oh believe me, we all know about karens caught in the wild. I just believe this was slightly race-induced, in her head. The optics aren't great for her.

That's all it is, "optics".

These days if 2 people are in a confrontation are of different races, people automatically decide that race played a factor.

To assume she would have thought twice and kept her poor offended feelings to herself if the comedian was white but felt emboldened since he was black is pure conjecture.
