Ohio college student 'angry' and 'scared' after 'cisgender men' installed radiator in dorms:

'Safe space'

what in hell is wrong with people in colleges. Colleges are promoting 'segregated' spaces and why be in a place "college" of all places where you are afraid of people especially Men, who are not trans, who by nature are a majority. How will someone who reacts like this be able to function in the real world?

A student at Oberlin College in Ohio described being "scared" and "angry" after the school announced a work crew would be installing radiators in a "safe space" dormitory for women and trans students, explaining the crew would likely be "cisgender men."

"I was angry, scared, and confused. Why didn’t the College complete the installation over the summer, when the building was empty? Why couldn’t they tell us precisely when the workers would be there? Why were they only notifying us the day before the installation was due to begin?" Oberlin student Peter Fray-Witzer wrote in an op-ed published in the college newspaper on Friday.

I understand that you'd like some advance notice when male workers are entering a room mostly occupied by women (although why they lump women together with trans students is beyond me), but... Scared and angry? Aren't you overreacting a little bit?
If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.

So a biological male installed your radiatior to keep you warm and cozy. It's not a women's refuge it's a university! Just don't get it. If he had made advances then of course that's another matter

Funny enough, there’s an old, white, cisgender man working on my bedroom door right now. He probably has no clue what trans or cisgender even mean. But he showed up on time, is affordable, and he’s doing a great job. And that’s all this gay black woman cares about.
