With the spending plans of Biden, what financial moves should be made to protect investments?

Inflation is certain - it is just a matter of how much. The stock market will be adversely impacted and this will hurt, among other things, the retirement funds of most Americans. How should this minimized and avoided as much as possible?

Even the most tedious neoliberal economist admits that a small to moderate amount of Inflation is a good thing for the poorest in society.
