Is Attorney Ben Crump a vulture?

Attorney Ben Crump has a very lucrative civil law business. His law firm earns one-third of the proceeds it wins in settlements. For example, his firm earned $8,991,000 from the George Floyd $27 M settlement. Is Attorney Ben Crump a vulture? Does Attorney Ben Crump exploit the emotional pain for financial gain? Since the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin murder trial, Ben Crump seemingly shows up every time a Black person is killed by a white police officer. The most recent example is when he showed up to represent the parents of Duante Wright who was killed on April 11 in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota by a white police officer. This video explores the "vulture" question and how two mothers are demanding that Ben Crump stop using the murders of their sons as promotional tools to make money.

Do you know if the family ASKED HIM to represent them? He's NOT representing the family of Ma'Khia Bryant so there goes your theory.

The obsession that you guys have in trying to discredit this movement proves exactly why it's needed. I doubt you've ever posted anything on the Org about any white attorneys being "vultures".

And he never complains that people hire Gloria Allred for sexual harassment cases or high profile divorces. But now Ben Crump is the boogeyman...There must be an alt-right network of black people where he's getting all this BS from. Putting a black face on the nonsense to avoid being called out as racist. Same thing the GOP did having Tim Scott deny America is a racist country. And he's posted ZERO evidence that would prove Crump chased the families and they refuse to think that maybe the families asked HIM. I guess the notion of having a "high powered attorney" is foreign to them.

They always need a Black boogeyman.,, it used to be MLK and Malcolm X, then it was Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton , now it’s Ben Crump. As Al Pacino said in “Scarface “: “You need me to point to and say he’s the bad guy “...
They’re always looking for a symbol, someone to pour all their fear and hatred into

I’m telling y’all, some of these crazy folks hate/despise Black Americans fighting for their rights or any public figure, that calls this country out for its ills. So don’t be surprised that they will find all kinds of ways to attack Ben Crump, and the jealousy he’s receiving for these families calling him personally to take their case. If it wasn’t him, they’d attack anyone else defending these type cases. They’ll look for any enemies he has, and will dig into his past. We’ve seen this happen before, but not going to buy into Crump’s critics, because they always need something to complain about, whenever there’s an attorney or activist, who becomes well known for these type case and causes.

I remember in the time before my grandma passed she would tell me stories about how it was when MLK was alive and she told me how much he was hated and resented. Then after his death his message was kind of "repackaged" and now suddenly when people express anger the right wingers like Sean Hannity say, "What would MLK think of all this?" But he's conveniently not mentioning that MLK said he understood the anger that leads to riots. And of course the right wingers don't seem to have a problem with the Capitol Rioters because they are "patriots" but BLM are "violent extremists".

Maxine Waters was the boogeyman for a while. I saw an editorial cartoon of her that was very unflattering and made it look like she was an animal. I'm guessing this same newspaper I saw this in never drew any pictures of Derek Chauvin in that manner and he actually KILLED someone with a smug look on his face!

These people are more upset about Ben Crump than they are about the police who were killed or injured at the Capitol riots.

There was just a news story that came out a few days ago about a sheriff in a city in Georgia who was recently arrested for weapons smuggling AND he was also corresponding with white supremacists in California. Apparently he told the guy that he was going to arrest those (insert racial epithet here) and charge them with felonies so that they couldn't vote anymore. He kept using the N word in the text messages and said he was going to do that. So where are all the "All Lives Matter" people to protest this and demand that there's an investigation into this cop's arrest record to see if there were innocent people thrown in jail by this guy. Where is the outrage????

Good question. He needs to be investigated, because you’re right, how do we know he didn’t falsely arrest Black citizens.

Reminds me of bad cops who put drugs and guns on Black citizens to meet their quotas. Just can’t trust some of these people in law enforcement, and sheriffs like that, shouldn’t be sheriffs. They need to do away with the no vote if you commit a felony, because people like that sheriff takes advantage of that, and doesn’t care if he destroys someone’s life.

Then they wonder why many Black Americans don’t trust many of these kind of criminals who become part of law enforcement. They need to keep track of the activities of sheriff depts and police in Georgia now, because Trump supporters and vicious righties of the GOP, are so angry that Black Americans and many people of color, turned out strong voting in elections last year, and the righties are scared of that voting power. It was mainly communities with a large, Black population of voters, that Trump tried to go after, claiming voter fraud. It’s our voting rights the GOP are attacking. We have to stand strong, no matter what.
