"Police brutality extends past racism, but it's clear that no one WANTS to have that conversation. White guy killed by cops, who cares.
The media even admitted they brought up his whiteness to keep people from rioting. That's wild."

2freak I haven’t seen anyone here say they didn’t care about White victims being killed. Perhaps maybe what you are saying is the only way you’ll discuss, Blacks being killed at a high rate by police, is only if we discuss Whites killed by police? That’s the vibe I’m getting from you. Your original thread mentioned Bkack victims, and that’s what everyone is responding to.

I’m surprised at your comments, though, because you post so many threads about Black Americans, but I rarely see you posting about concerns of your community? Why not? If you want to alert everyone about what’s going on in your community, you should post it, and I’m sure it could be discussed.

Well we’re all human, but I’m not going to pretend we live in a Utopia, or glide over injustices just to not make someone uncomfortable. If you don’t discuss/ raise awareness of social injustices, how does anything get done about it??

Liberals are the ones on the front lines fighting injustices, while many on the right, are not helping progress in this country. If you want to help the human family, then you have to do what’s right and acknowledge injustices/mistreatment in society no matter how uncomfortable and ugly, the truths of those injustices are. If we stay silent, then nothing will change for the better.

Well, you and the other whites are free to protest this if you feel so strongly about it , and free to write about, and free to organize around this issue. Absolutely no one is preventing you and your fellow Whites from doing something with this situation.
And if you create a credible argument, perhaps you can get others to join in behind you as well

BLM Protesters Kneel, Rally for Man Killed by Police, Then It Turns Out He's White

Black Lives Matter has led the charge to make seemingly every issue in America a referendum on race. One example of this came during a protest outside Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s mansion in St. Paul on Sunday.

The New York Post reported that dozens of protesters were kneeling outside the mansion amid reports of a shooting involving an officer in Burnsville, Minnesota.

Mitti Hicks, a reporter for KMSP-TV in Minneapolis, tweeted a video of the kneeling protesters, some of whom were displaying Black Lives Matter signs, flags and other memorabilia.

“Protestors kneel after hearing there was an officer-involved shooting in Burnsville moments ago,” she reported. “This information HAS NOT been confirmed but this group says they’re heading there.”

“Just an update on this, protestors said later they’re heading back to Brooklyn Center because they need more information about what happened in Burnsville first,” Hicks said in a follow-up tweet.

Could it be that rather than needing “more information,” the protesters obtained that information and realized that it did not fit their narrative?

The Burnsville Police Department announced Sunday that the person who was shot was a white man who had opened fire on its officers.

“At this time, the initial police report indicates suspect fired numerous shots at officers who returned fire. The suspect, believed to be a white male in his 20s, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead,” the department said in a news release.

Traffic camera video obtained by KARE-TV shows a man jumping out of a moving car and seemingly pointing a gun at an oncoming vehicle before police eventually shot him.

Agree. And why is he so bothered that the Black community speaks out about these killings, when the victims are part of the Black community? Are we not suppose to say anything about it, as though we have to request permission from someone outside the Black community, to speak on these injustices?? What the hell? What year are some of these complainers living in? Smh. I think some are just using this thread for their personal biases against Blacks.

No one ever told 2freak that he couldn’t discuss police brutality against White Americans, nor did any of us ever said we didn’t care about White Americans who are murdered by police.

As a matter of fact, in a different situation, a number of us, questioned why was that 17 yr old teen able to get away with murdering White protesters, and walked past police with an assault weapon, and got a high five. 2freak why weren’t you raising hell about that? Those were your people he murdered. The police did nothing when protesters yelled to them, that Rittenhouse murdered protesters. A few righties here defended rittenhouse, which was strange, because he murdered two people.

That's different, that was an active shooter, shooting at the cops, of course the cops are going to return gunfire. This is a totally different scenario then what happened to Floyd, Wright, etc, etc.

The white dude wasn't killed because had fresheners hanging from his rearview mirror, or passing a possible counterfit 20.

Hell, I don't blame BLM after they got the facts of this case, walking away from it.

LOL...some of these "people" are reaching so desperately for ways to compare and justify the actions of the racist and barbaric police actions...if they only knew or cared how they look...but im sure they know, and dont care...just like the police...and a few of the commenters allegedly even share similar backgrounds as the victims of these hate crimes, which makes it even more laughable.

Yeah, I don't get it.

There is just no comparison to the article that was posted about the active shooter who was shooting at police, that the police took out. That's not even police brutality.

Maybe you should stop looking for ‘your choice’ of who is the leader of the Black community, and stop acting like Black Americans are not individuals and can’t think for themselves. It’s insulting. Some of y’all are working overtime. Must have hit a nerve.

He sounds like a rightie now. He’s a denier that racism exists in America. He doesn’t walk in our shoes, so is it any surprise he sounds like the typical FOXbot? He thinks he could tell the Black community who should be our leaders, and how we should think, and agree with, and just angry because he thought some of us would fall for the bs. Lol.

Absolutely. It’s amazing how some try to dismiss the years of racial injustices, experienced by individuals within a specific group, then basically call them liars. So disrespectful. Smh. I bet he’ll convince himself that all that happened in the past had nothing to do with race, yet all the segregation/racial discrimination laws/lynchings are ‘documented’ evidence of that.
