He could still be charged with a hate crime, since gender is included as part of a hate crime. It’s sad that anyone would make excuses for him though. That spokesperson reminds me of the cops that took Dylan Roof for lunch after he assassinated 9 Black Americans in a church.

This guy knew exactly what he was doing and targeting, as well as, planning which locations to enter. I’m glad it was his parents that called the police when they saw his pic on the news, before he made it to Florida to do more killings, as news reports stated that was his plan.

I hope he is charged with a hate crime. And yes, there are pics of either Dylan Roof or James Holmes (Aurora movie theater) sitting and eating McDonald's after they were arrested. Juxtapose that with Michael Brown bleeding out in the street, Tamir Rice bleeding out on a playground, George Floyd and Eric Garner being strangled to death.

His defence tried to use the "he is autistic" defence, but the judge (and public) didn't buy it. He is awaiting his sentence, and will be going to jail for a very long time. Good riddance to him.
