Pathetic right? I’ve never seen an adult carry on that way, because he lost an election. He managed to destroy his own legacy with little effort. In the end, the irony is that it was his supporters who helped destroy his legacy as well.

I mean, egging them on to attack the U.S. Capitol? Dumb move.

America gave Trump his eviction notice on 11/3/20, and now he’s the only president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.

The final nail on the coffin was pounded in place by Trump's own supporters themselves. They made themselves as instrumental in his downfall as their cult leader.

An impeachment is a lot more lenient than what Charles Manson got.

It was also his association with certain individuals who were known to have like-minded racist attitudes just like Trump, which is Hannity, Bannon and Guiliani. They all helped to stain his already racist attitude even more.

The role of the SCOTUS is to address questions of law and the constitunality of legal and constitunal matters. Things like self pardons or impeachment after the target left office are fair game.

What do you guys think of Trump’s speech yesterday? I saw it as one week too late. It seems that now so many businesses are refusing to do business with him, and he’s losing contracts, seems to be the only reason he made that speech.

He knows that the threats the country is receiving from many of his supporters, will do more damage to his reputation, and loss of money. Although many here state he will cry victim, and get more donations out of his supporters to keep money flowing into his pockets.

Actually,Trump is the first and *only* US president to be impeached twice.....and during his one term.He made history today,LOL.

That's correct, but Only always has to get his dig in about Clinton or Obama. He can't and won't accept the fact that his guy is the worst ever by being impeached twice. And, he also has multiple sexual assault allegations against him as well. Only still loves him!

.

It has already been determined in the courts that the judgements of a Senate impeachment court are not.

.

This was considered a separation of powers issue with impeachment being considered part of the poliitcal processes, not legal processes.

.

SCOTUS could reconsider this but as they demonstrated in rejecting hearing the coup leader's attempt to steal the election, they have demonstrated a reluctance to get involved with political processes. Unless SCOTUS changes this position there is no legal process to challenge an impeachment and you are still wrong - there never has and never will be a limitation on precedent that prevents an unchallenged judgement or judgement to aquit from creating precedent.

Huh ??

I know, his comments makes absolutely no sense at all. Lol. He obviously got it confused with the extremists groups hiding behind Trump, using him as an excuse to promote and act their hatred/violence, and longtime desire for a civil war. Trump and those extremists used each other for sure, and look where it got trump. Pathetic.

.

I think he is referring to that the number one enemy of the progressives and far left are what they refer to as the extreme centre.

.

In the class war Freaky keeps on promoting these are the modern day equivalent of the Petite Bourgeoisie - the moderates who supported Blair in the UK, John Howard's aspirational socialists in Australia, those who supported Clinton over Sanders or who are just as worried about the Squad as they are worried about the tea party or trumpism in the GOP.

Donald Trump just pushed ...NNPolitics lol lol lol

Donald Trump just pushed Rudy Giuliani under the bus

He turns on everyone eventually.

The "he" is, of course President Donald Trump. And the everyone is, well, everyone -- but in this case Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City who has risen to infamy in recent years as the President's personal lawyer.
In the wake of his second impeachment at the hands of the House on Wednesday, Trump told people around him to stop paying Giuliani's legal fees.

The amount of security that will be in Washington, DC for the inauguration is so needed. The attack on the Capitol, feels like 9/11 all over again, but this time, we were attacked by our own countrymen. Sad that it was that easy for them to scheme all that under the radar.

You are proving my point by blaming the coup leader on the liberals.

.

There are a number of reasons why Clinton lost but a key reason is the number of Sanders supporters who decided not to vote in key States because Clinton beat Sanders in the Primaries and they blamed their side's Democratic Primary loss on the liberals. In an indirect way you are right - In a system where voting is not compulsory, it is the fault of the person seeking to be elected who failed to engage with progressives and the far left to get them out to vote for her.

.

This is my point - whilst the right, as soon as they realised their guys were going to lose to the future coup leader, they united behind him (most even after all his failures including the coup attempt), the left stayed split - you to this day. This is a constant problem for the left - the number one enemy of different ideological left factions are the other left factions.
