I wonder what's going on in the minds of the black folks that supported Trump?..(and I don't mean celebs like Shaq, Stacey Dash, Candace Owens,etc)....I saw a few out there during the riot (wearing their Trump hats and sweaters) running around...I wonder what they thought while they were witnessing many of those white supremacists doing what they did...(?) | |

The day before I read a group text message a friend share with me that I begged for a screenshot of it, and i promised I would black out everyone’s names if got it. Her family (Mexican Trumpers) were going to do “rosary”/pray that Trump be re/elected. Yes, Jan 11 2021 they were doing this. She texted back with her reasons why there was no way would that. I was howling with laughter about the whole thing and wanted so badly to post the it somewhere. . So yesterday they all do a FaceTime prayer with the beads and 4 of them are praying for Trump and one against. The whole thing is even more preposterous and hilarious when you throw religion in the mix. Scary and hilarious at the same tine. One of them tried to be supportive of my friend and said “Biden is not an evil man, but he is just not strong enough to deal with is coming” I was like damn what’s going on with Trumpers? Are they really going to keep this nonsense going and keep doing more shit into the new year? I was laughing, she didn’t think it was funny. . I told her to save the texts for herself as it was a time capsule of 2020-1. It had COVID, Trump, religion, family, family in the hospital with COVID, politics, a deadly insurrection, denial, delusions, distancing, how divided people are even in close knit minority families, and most/worst of all, the insanity of it all.
