would prince have been pro or anti mask?

Seeing as he got more and more into conspiracy theories as he got older, would prince have fallen for the anti mask argument?

I'm wondering.....

As we all know, Prince did whatever Prince wanted to do, and he clearly didn't like taking orders from anyone. I think he would have just distanced himself from others more than usual, and if he did appear out in a mask, he definitely would have done in his Princely way, that drew the most attention.

Grammar, syntax & punctuation mistakes, as well as duplicated words contained in your reply, don't exactly make your assessment about who is moronic very persuasive.

Masks are more about compliance than protection. "Face coverings" can get you access to anywhere, regardless of how poorly they function. Restaurants (including buffets) still function. Hotels still function with no elevator restrictions. No mandate to stop the use of air hand dryers in restrooms, etc.

(In the U.S.) There's been a flu vaccine for 75 years, yet we've been ok with 50,000 flu deaths in a year recently. Pneumonia has killed more people recently. Medical malpractice has killed more recently. 480,000 annual cigarette-related deaths on average has been the accepted standard.

The media has conditioned the reaction of the masses, not logic. Wash your hands, take vitamins, eat healthy, and drink plenty of spring water. Naturally increase your bowel movements through diet, etc. and the vast majority (99.7%+) of us will get through this fine.

I'd like to think Prince would be anti-mask. And if he did wear one, hopefully it would have "SLAVE" written on the side.

Good question.

I can honestly see him pulling that "it's all in God's hands" stuffand going without. Then again, I can also see him turning it into his own freaky fashion statement.

Yeah, we see all the anti-maskers in your hero's White House, owning the libs by getting sick with COVID-19.
Go ahead. Own us. Just stay away. We know your politics by the mask you do/not wear.

Then Prince probably would've wrote a song about it. lol lol lol

Then the masks aren't the issue here, the issue is the people in charge putting money and 'normalcy' above precaution and safety in a full-blown pandemic that could have been avoided here in the US if we all just buckled down and made some sacrifices for a few months. Masks do help prevent the spread of covid, but only in conjunction with enforced social distancing methods.

It's insane to me that with everything wrong with US politics and government (thanks, Republican party), people are going into conspiracy mode over wearing a fucking mask. Just wear the damn thing and don't be an idiot.

Remember when the Democrats and media were focused on impeachment and telling people to not be racist and go down to their local Chinatown to own the racists?

The point was to flatten the curve. You can't flatten a curve forever. People have completely lost the plot as to why we were doing certain things.

Yeah, sure, do all that too but otherwise let me say "Fuck This Selfish Attitude".

It's not "the media" warning us. It's fucking DOCTORS and SCIENTISTS, ok? If any "media" is clouding the message, it's crap like FOX News. Is it overblown? Perhaps. I'll be sure to mention that to my former coworker who's laid up with it with his wife and who hasn't texted me back in 3 days while I worry about my 9 year old son attending school.

The point of the masks is to protect OTHER PEOPLE, not just your own selfish asses who view being asked to make this very minor, slightly inconvenient concession as silly, a violation of your very freedom, a threat to your masculinity or some sort of Big Government Breach into your god given constitutional rights to be complete assholes. You abject morons. I'm gonna go ahead and listen to the CDC, Dr. Fauci and the vast majority of other experts around the globe who say wearing masks helps stop the spread of Covid 19 over prince.org forums posters, DJ Thunderfunk and TraSoul82, if nobody minds.

God damn this is so frustrating. Is it THAT hard to slide a fucking mask on your face when you go into a public space? I mean, at a bare minimum, can it fucking HURT? Does it put you out that much to the point that your ability to smile smugly at a checkout line sans any sort of facial shield makes you feel Just That Good? And you have the nerve to talk about "logic"? Logic says wear the damned thing and get over yourselves.

Just put on the fuckin mask. Please. My god. Or are we down to worrying about "looking cool", defining people as weak or hysterical or making some weird political statement with this? It's like listening to idiots 45 years ago bitching about seatbelt laws being introduced all over again. You smug, self centered arrogant children. If it's not too much trouble, for everyone's sake, please fasten your seatbelts when you drive and, if it's not too much trouble, cover your fucking mouth with a mask when you're within 6 feet of me and my epileptic son when you're indoors. I'd REALLY appreciate it.

On topic, I wouldn't care if Prince wore one or not and wouldn't look to him for medical guidance either way given the misguided role he played in handling Mayte's pregnancy, not to mention the way he died, even though I find the question interesting.

Pathetic, isn't it?

As citizens, we've been asked to do THREE THINGS: maintain distance, wash our hands and wear a mask. OK. It can be a drag sometimes and it sucks for everybody but, christ. Is this really a bridge too far? I'm glad this generation wasn't around during WW2, you want to talk about true sacrifice.

We'd all be speaking German right now. Sorry some off you are slightly inconvenienced during a global pandemic but, please, continue showing us all how brave and badass you are. It means so much.

Also, "spring water" is 99% nothing but regular filtered tap water.

"Duh...I'll go out of my way to over pay for 'spring water' but wearing a mask in public is weak media hype and stupid democrat brainwashing"

I do my part, and wear the mask when I go out to the stores, whatever, and I wash my hands, and social distance, but notice how no one is telling us when this whole mask wearing will be over! How long do they expect us to be walking around wearing masks, until the end of time perhaps? However, I'm sure that if it's up to the Democrats, who insist on the mask wearing, that it depends upon if their side wins or not, and the mask wearing will come off if they do! rolleyes I don't want to go through the rest of my life wearing a irratating, uncomfortable, annoying mask on my face, that is not living in my opinion, and I am not going to live in fear of covid for the rest of life, too afraid to live life, because that's not living at all, and just existing, miserably at that!
