In 2016 he paid $70,000 for his hairdresser, and he only paid $750 in taxes?

He has the Trump Jet, he has a golden toilet, he has hotels, and he cheats on his taxes.

His cult like followers, think there is nothing wrong with this. Hell I pay more taxes then he does.

$70K for that...given what they had to work with seems like a bargain...

you say he cheats... i say he exploits the law...

maybe they will disallow some of his claims... maybe he will owe penalties and intrest. But that is not in and of itself a crime.

I see some of this as political dislike and some of it as jealousy... i am jealous so what?

Wow that is so Presidential! Exploiting the laws for his own personal gain.
Sounds so kosher!

Sounds good to me!

Your client is so lucky to have you defending all his evil deeds!

Kosher? I would suggest not using ethnic terms in such a manner... in context it comes off as a slur.

And I am not defencing him so much as saying the tax laws are like that and it is a game and yes rich people benefit more than we can... but that is not their fault.

Want to know who paid more in taxes than Donald? I'll start: EVERY SINGLE TEACHER IN AMERICA

..................

Trump wants to, needs to, remain President to try to avoid prosecution on tax fraud. No wonder he is refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer of power. Vote him out.

A lot of republicans are distancing themselves from this garbage of a human being. Perhaps you should consider jumping ship with the rest of them now while it may be still considered a noble thing to do.
Those whole jump ship later are more unceremoniously labeled rats fleeing a sinking ship.

The damage that Bush left as he left office was massive. He fled office as the nation imploded and had wasted so much money and lives .

Many of us correctly predicted Trump would screw up just as bad and leave as bad a mess as Bush.

.

I thought Americans had learned their lesson electing republicans to office (well to be fair to Americans in neither case did they "elect" them, but the electoral collage rules did)

In any case, those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat the mistakes.

.........................................................

He says he won’t leave if he loses but I think it’s more likely trump will leave the White House *election night*, leaving us presidentless for the last 78 days because he’s mentally a tiny baby

He has admitted before that tax avoidance is a sport to him, so tell me, if everything he's done is legal and above board, and just how the tax laws are, then why isn't he owning it? Why is he saying it's fake news? After all, it's not his fault (your words not mine).

Those repubs can't be trusted either, they've sat by for almost 4 years and have done nothing and have stayed silent. F them too.

I wouldn't LOL at this. The man is a complete shyster and should be in jail. I have never understood how so many Americans can give this man a pass on all the unscrupulous things he, his family and his cohorts have done. He's a white collar criminal if I ever saw one.

Yep ‘the stupids in America’ still voted for him’, and the same ones are the first to point fingers and harshly criticize the poor for receiving government benefits, but let a rich guy off the hook. Smh.

Trump’s actions never seem to be his fault. For him it’s always someone else to blame. He’s irresponsible by never holding himself accountable for anything and never acknowledging his faults. Responsible people wouldn’t make excuses for him. Now we know if somebody else did what Trump did, most here know the harsh criticism that would be made.

Tax bombshell reveals Trump's image is a sham
Analysis by Stephen Collinson, CNN

Updated 6:59 AM ET, Mon September 28, 2020

“It was the moment when Donald Trump's "Art of the Deal" fabulism, billionaire tycoon bluster and populist standard-bearing for forgotten Americans was revealed to be what it always looked like: a sham.

A stunning New York Times exposé of the President's tax returns Sunday revealed a pitifully inept businessman and a serial tax avoider crushed by massive debts that could expose him to conflicts of interest given his position as President and power to help undisclosed lenders.”

Reading is fundamental. His image is a sham. If you'd bothered to read the report you would find out how deeply in debt he is and how little money he actually has, but he scammed you all into believing he was a "successful businessman", when in actuality, it was an illusion.

That’s the funny part. How some trump supporters actually said they voted for him because he was ‘a successful businessman’ lol. Shows they didn’t do their homework about his bankruptcies and tax situations. If trump told them he was Batman, they’d believe it, because trump knows he could tell them any lie, and they’d believe it, and troll anyone who said he isn’t. lol

If it's all legal, why doesn't he make them public and admit he played the system legally? Instead he calls it fake news. There's one easy way to sort this.

There is a silver lining for Trump. At least on his $450 debt. His cult is very loyal. I could see them pay it off for him. Whether it be small amounts by lots of cultists, or someone like Larry Ellison of Oracle who is a big Trump supporter.
.
Let’s remember, these are the same morons that have televangelists living in luxury with private jets.
.
So that’s the silver lining. A moronic cult.
.
The bad news though would be if there are criminal charges for tax fraud.
His cultists can not help him there.
.
The cultist could send him prison treats though...

According to a complaint filed with the FEC, Trump's campaign may have been laundering money.
