Trans-dog rights

After showing her a lot of animal shows and being in contact with my neighbour's dog, my female cat has recently started behaving like a male dog. I have tried everything to prevent this but she keeps on barking at me and insists on being referred to as a dog, and even demanded to change her description on her medical record at the vet's buy pointing at dogs' posters.

The vet has suggested a (pricey) course of hormones along with an (even pricier) operation to fully complete her transition into a male dog but the RSPCA police has been camped outside my house for two weeks, arguing that this is a very unwise and irrational decision that would go against animal rights.

What should I do? cat

Cat’s life saved by ‘gender reassignment’ surgery

This dog was slated for death, but a ‘sex change’ surgery saved its life

Very similar stories. Interesting too that the cat is called 'Piglet'.

No hateful comments please. Re-assignment surgery for animals is a current valid issue.

For a second there, I thought the last word was something else. lol lol lol

We all know we're a product of our environment, and animals are no doubt too.

If young animals (like young children) are raised a certain way, they will act a certain way. How anybody could deny this is beyond me.

There's many, many examples of animals behaving like a different type of animal because they were raised by that different type of animal. And based on how things are going with groups like PETA, there's nothing that would surprise me anymore.

Here's just one example:
