you confused weather with climate... simple mistake.

a) The variation in temperature data (+1.2 deg. C since 1950) lies well within the error range of the measurements. So it's a bit like Schroedingers cat.

b) regardless of a) is it man made? (please cite peer reviewed research)

Milli Vanilli won a Grammy and other awards by pretending to use their own voice, when in reality it was someone behind the scenes whose voice was being heard.

So no, it doesn't surprise me that Greta was nominated. Year of the Young Woman.

I just went through another tornado. This is the second tornado in 3 years. I was hit in 2017. My neighbors have lived in this neighborhood for 30+ years and they said they have never experienced any tornadoes until recently.

I got very lucky, only minimal damage this time. Also, I had left the house about 10 minutes before it started, but I had went to Office Depot and if I had left 5 minutes later than I did, I would have driven straight into it. It hit at the Office Depot about 3 minutes after I was inside the store. We didn't get any warnings until after it passed. Needless to say, they were not expecting it.

Benni I'm glad you managed to avoid it and are okay. I've been through a couple tornados myself, it's an awful feeling especially when you don't have a basement to take cover in. Funny thing is I've had recurring nightmares since I was a kid of being in tornados, I honestly think it might be because of my watching Wizard of Oz as a young child.

Only if you believe what the alarmist media outlets say. (and by the way, they were reporting the antarctic high of 64F, not the arctic, I sincerely hope you know the difference)

If you go look at the facts you'll see that:

a) The Esperanza station (reporting the 64F temperature) is the most northern station on antarctica.

b) it regulary experiences a so called "Foehn event" (just for fun, go to google translate and translate the german word Foehn to english, you might get a clue what it means).

These Foehn events have been studied thorroughly after the last set temperature record in 2015.
Here's the research (peer reviewed) published in 2018:

Foehn Event Triggered by ...Antarctica

Also

Unfortunately for the alarmists, there is a cooling trend on the antarctic, also well documented, peer reviewed & published:

Recent regional climate c...cryosphere

But hey, that doesn't make any apocalyptic headlines, does it?

So, dear Freaky, no need to freak out. Just don't believe all the crap that is spewed over us.

We should start a GoFundMe to cryogenically freeze Freaky's head after he passes, and then 500 years from now thaw and attach it to a body so he can see for himself how stupid this notion is that the planet is overheating. I'll put in the first dollar.

lol lol

I like Freaky, he's just misguided at times. wink

I give him credit for reverting back to the original alarmist phrase of "Global Warming", rather than hiding behind the term "Climate Change". We all know the climate changes, and has been doing so for thousands of years. Those alarmists are so darn sneaky!

What are you trying to say?

That there's more than 14 decades of temperatures on record?

Or that 2016 wasn't warmer than 2017, 2018 or 2019?

People making statements like this don't have a clue about measuring and measurment accuracy.

But hey.... I've explained plenty of times, but some (Hi Freaky) don't have the cognitive abilities to understand lol
