Well now it makes sense why a lot of these republicans and so doggedly supporting Trump in all this, with Nunes and Perry and Giuliani and all of these other goofballs are knee-deep in this mess. They have to. They all have dirty hands.

nod

As they say where I come from - Nunes is up shits creek without a paddle. He will get another ethics probe. He took staffers and used federal funds to go to Ukraine for the Biden meeting.

I don't know where to put this, but goodness gracious do I question reality lately.

.

https://www.businessinsid...od-2019-11

  • Energy Secretary Rick Perry in a recent interview with Fox News said President Donald Trump was the "chosen one" who was "sent by God" to lead the country.
  • Perry also said: "Barack Obama didn't get to be the president of the United States without being ordained by God. Neither did Donald Trump."
  • Trump controversially referred to himself as the "chosen one"while discussing the trade war with China in August.

Devin Nunes was directly involved in the push for Biden Ukraine investigations, says Lev Parnas

Lev Parnas, an associate of Rudy Giuliani, says he helped arrange meetings between Nunes and Ukrainians.

Good article, thanks for posting luv. Trump was trying to investigate the Bidens with the former Ukraine President too, pre Giuliani. Devin "drug deal" Nunes is in deep do-do now. Incredible, he's a ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee.

He used to be a dairy farmer? didn't know that. cow2 lol

  • President Donald Trump was aware of the whistleblower complaint — which alleged that he was using his office for political gain — ahead of releasing nearly $400 million in military aid to Ukraine, The New York Times reported, citing two people familiar with the matter.

  • This new timeline detail puts Trump's motives behind releasing military aid to the country under scrutiny as investigators take into consideration whether or not the complaint played a role in his decision.

Of course he was aware. Anyone that doubts this is being blindly political and not even logical. I have nothing to say to people like this. There is no persuading them. If you doubt or don't even consider the president's role in all of this, you are either in denial or flat out refusing the truth for petty political purposes.

He lies his way out of a paper bag, and refused to hold himself accountable. He plays the blame and twist game, and what’s more pathetic, is the repubs choose to play blind to his actions, as well as, his extremely, delusional supporters.

Trump uses his Twitter account as a weapon. ^^ Like what he is doing to Lisa Page.

Why hasn't Twitter shut his account down? That's what should really be happening.

No matter what evidence, the GOP does not have any desire to impeach. They halve the majority so they have no urgency to do anything. The Democrats did what they HAD TO DO. It was their fiduciary duty.

The sad thing will be when/if Democrats in the senate vote against impeachment. They should be made pariahs if any Dems go that route, especially after the House did all the heavy lifting of only for the sake of the moral high ground.

Some analyst was saying today that Nixon also refused to let his people testify, just like Trump is doing. The difference is they took it to the courts and won. It took longer but everyone was able to see his closest cronies be forced to testify.

Do not understand to concept of 'just let the American people vote him out in 2020'. He will fix the election and stay. This is ABOUT him fixing the election. He publicly asked China to investigate Biden too. Think he was kidding? Boy are "we" dumb. Could be the total death of the 3 branches of US government here.

Pelosi asks House to proceed with articles of impeachment

By Meg Wagner
Updated 9:53 a.m. ET, December 5, 2019

Where things stand now
JUST IN: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has asked the House to proceed with articles of impeachment.

What happens next: The Judiciary Committee has authority to write articles of impeachment, and will vote on whether to refer them to the full House. If they're approved, they'll go to the House floor, where a simple majority is needed to formally impeach President Trump.

There's a lot of talk about "precedence" with respect to impeaching or not impeaching unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump. But the GOP already set the bar for impeachable conduct when they impeached President Clinton for lying about a consenual affair with another adult.

Anyone that thinks lying about cheating on their wife is more dangerous to the United States of America and its citizens than jeopardizing foreign relations/our democratic electoral process by asking another country to investigate a domestic political rival is either woefully ignorant, blindfully partisan, or both.

And this is coming from a guy who castigates unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump for his serial adultery pretty much every single day. However - I've never said his serial adultery is grounds for impeachment.

Remember this - the HIGHEST polling for impeachment support in the President Clinton case was 29% for impeachment.

Already, before the trial has even started, 50% of Americans support the impeachment AND REMOVAL FROM OFFICE of unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump.

Half of America wants him removed from office. That's astounding, and it should drive the Democrats and it should open the eyes of the Republicans.

Yes. He will be impeached, not so sure about removed. It has to be done for the record if nothing else. The Repubs are saying there's not enough evidence while witholding evidence and witnesses.

Trump wants it fast is so they can continue to withhold documents and pretend like it's legal to have his people barred from testifying - it is not. Not sure impeachment "lite" is the way the Dems should have gone. Letting the country be exposed to the whole process like Watergate may have been a better way to go. This way, Trump is managing to hide all the real dirt that went down.

We still have to worry about election fraud. Now it's OK for the President to break laws and get a pass on accountability by shielding his crimes? Signed, disgusted and pissed off.
