The difference is, everyone knows that anyone who genuinely hates you for any of those things is an idiot and shouldn't really be taken seriously, and fortunately, those folks are more and more deciding to be silent rather than expose themselves.

Conversely, people who publicly disagree with left wing orthodoxy have lost jobs, relationships, been doxxed, and had their lives turned upside down simply because they disagree with someone. And that is a great way to get someone to hate you, by removing someone's ability to make a living just because you disagree with their politics.

Can you share examples of when someone has disagreed with the left and lost jobs, relationships, been doxxed, or had their lives turned upside down because they disagree with someone?

And if somebody ends a relationship with another person because of something they said or did, or their political or social views, isn't that their choice ?

I notice the left being more nasty and vindictive and more likely to demand someone be punished for something they did... I also see a double standard... how many lefties have been busted in black face got a pass? but oh no a conservative did not understand why it is always (unless you are liberal) bad to use it got fired?

No one is coming for your abortion: they just want common-sense abortion regulations: background checks, waiting periods, lifetime limits, take a class, and a small tax.

Last time I checked Ralph "Minstrel" Northam is still the Governor of Virginia.

There are still moderate Dems and maybe a few Republicans hiding under a rock, (proving "Conservatives" have no backbone if they really believe in what their party is supposed to stand for).
Finger point all you want - Dems are a more inclusive party, even with all the flaws. People trying to make them both the "same" need only look at a group photo.

It happens often. It's still political beliefs mixed up in identity politics.

I'm seeing it more in the school system.

People get fired for saying the N word(within proper context) knee jerk reactions.

In real time, Benito Mussolini and his movement – fascism or national socialism – was of the left. Mussolini was a great admirer of Karl Marx and Marx’s principle of revolutionary socialism. By “revolutionary socialism,” I mean to distinguish Marxist socialism from the democratic socialists and labor unions that were emerging in Europe.

Mussolini, like Marx and Lenin, saw the party as the vanguard of the working class, a force from without the system that would usher in change. Mussolini was in fact a member of the socialist party of Italy, although he broke with the party on the issue of neutrality during World War I. It was later that Mussolini thought to combine socialism with nationalism, and form a new party. He called the combination “fascism.” A fasces is a bundle of rods, each individually weak while the bundle is strong. Mussolini’s counterpart in Germany called the combination “national socialism.” In Germany, where they like long words, this became “Nationalsozialistische.” In America, where we like short words, this became “Nazi.”

A journalist and politician, Mussolini had been a leading member of the National Directorate of the
Italian Socialist Party (PSI) from 1910 to 1914, but was expelled from the PSI for advocating military intervention in World War I, in opposition to the party's stance on neutrality.

when watching the documentary it was clearly a mix of leftist and right idealogy. Fascism is it's own thing. But I see parts of it in the Left and the Right. no word play needed.

Progressives of the left tend to be very dogmatic as well in certain ways.
I wonder why Gina Rodriguez is under fire for singing a FUGEES song where L Hill say the N word.

As you yourself pointed out when mentioning that some African Americans have "anti-gay " views, many Black people (especially Religious ones) are often socially conservative. That's also true of a lot of Caribbean and African immigrants. Black people don't have a problem with other Black people being "conservative ". The problem is with Blacks who deny or downplay White racism and it's effects, or allow themselves to be used as a Black cover for such policies.

I posted it because it's true. It's from wiki - or any history book. If it was an accurate documentary it would say that Mussolini was kicked out of the Socialist party too. Well known fact.

https://www.tyrantsanddictators.com/dictators/benito-mussolini.html

Originally a member of the Italian Socialist Party (PSI), Mussolini was expelled from the PSI due to his opposition to the party's stance on neutrality in World War I. Mussolini denounced the PSI, and later founded the fascist movement.
