NRA and Congress or should I say NRA and Republicans?

Sad Fact from looking at things until Assualt rifles become banned, We are going to have another one of these tragedies again. Looking at the patteren of things: Mass shooting, none for a few months/a year or tow, happens again, none for a few months/ a year or two, happens again, over and over and over. Because Congress want Ban these Assualt rifles. So does Congress and NRA need slapped up side the head fishslap brick because nothing changes???!!!

Please list 3 features of a rifle that transform it into an assault rife that make it more dangerous or deadly than a non-assault rifle?

The AR-15 and its variants or cousins are the weapon of choice for mass murderers. As most of us know - especially those who read the El Paso shooter's manifesto, or possibly those who actually served in the military - the rounds fired by that type of rifle do more damage than rounds from handguns.

Couple that with 100-round magazines that no one BUT a mass murderer needs, and you have the recipe for maximum death and carnage.

But the NRA owns the GOP. As long as the GOP has a majority in any branch of Congress, or holds the White House, absolutely nothing will be done.

You're either with the mass murderers or you're with the victims.

The NRA and the GOP are solidly with the mass murderers.

So........

KILL THE NRA AS AN ORGANIZATION.

VOTE OUT EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN WHO HAS EVER TAKEN A DIME FROM THE NRA.

Do those two things and THEN we can get to the business of keeping Americans safe from mass murderers.

Most gun murders are NOT with an AR style weapon...

Many Semi-Auto firearms (including pistols) have 100+ round magazines available... but that is a silly issue as it takes 2 to 3 seconds to change one.

the NRA is a civil rights organization...they do a lot for gun safty... they prevent more death than they cause.

to say the GOP or NRA are with the mass murderers is simply untrue

It's typical pro-gun, pro-murder trolling. His point is, "Why outlaw large capacity magazines when we all know Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham can switch out magazines in the blink of an eye, because we see them do it in movies?"

The usual bullshit.

The REAL point is this - if large-capacity magazines were useless, mass murderers wouldn't use them. And yet.....it seems like they all do. They sure have used them recently, haven't they?

These NRA-approved mass murderers aren't using large-capacity magazines because they have sympathy for their victims.

So throw that back in the pro-gun troll's face.

It seems when mass murderers research which weapons would do the most amount of carnage in the least amount of time, they all of them recommend the AR-15s. Both for their budget and customer service friendliness.
The GOP says “No fuss guaranteed!”
.
No one but partisans supporting the GOP and the advertising arm for weapons dealers the NRA supports having these weapons on the market.

If Congress Banned: "The AR-15 and its variants or cousins are the weapon of choice for mass murderers."

Could they still f' up shyte with what OnlyNDUSA is talking about "Many Semi-Auto firearms (including pistols) have 100+ round magazines available... but that is a silly issue as it takes 2 to 3 seconds to change one."

And I guess even if "AR-15 and its variants or cousins" were banned if one is Rich enough and Crazy and Hell bent enough they could probably still buy one on a Black Market somewhere? Right? But do you think banning would help out to some degree?

To OnlyNDUSA and others that think like him:

This fool didn't use "Many Semi-Auto firearms (including pistols) have 100+ round magazines available." did he??? eek confused

Stephen Craig Paddock (April 9, 1953 – October 1, 2017)[2] was an American mass murderer responsible for the 2017 Las Vegas shooting,[3][4][5]in which he opened fire into a crowd of approximately 22,000 concertgoers attending a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip.[6][7] The incident is the deadliest mass shooting by a lone shooter in United States history, with 58 fatalities (excluding Paddock) and 851 injuries (422 by gunfire).[1] Paddock committed suicide in his hotel room by shooting himself.[8] His motive for committing the killings has not been determined.

Paddock lived in Mesquite, Nevada, and was a real-estate investor, property manager, retired accountant, amateur pilot, and avid video pokergambler.[9][10]

After Paddock killed himself, the police found 23 rifles and one handgun inside his rooms.[64][65] They included 14 .223-caliber AR-15-type rifles, eight .308-caliber AR-10-type rifles, one .308-caliber Ruger Americanbolt-action rifle, and one .38-caliber Smith & Wesson Model 342 revolver,[66] all very expensive, according to a law enforcement source.[67] His arsenal included a large quantity of ammunition in special high-capacity magazines, holding up to 75,[67] or up to 100 cartridges each.[68] Some of the rifles were resting on bipods,[67] and were equipped with high-tech telescopic sights.[69][70] All fourteen AR-15-type rifles were outfitted with bump fire stocks that allow semiautomatic rifles to fire rapidly, simulating fully-automatic gunfire.[66][71] Audio recordings of the attack indicated Paddock used these stocks to fire at the crowd in rapid succession.[72][73][74]

It is distrusting how rabid some partisans are in advocating for the ducking things.
. And even more disturbing that there are people that listen to them much less take them seriously.
.
We really do have to get rid of a lot of GOP congressmen to fix things. Sadly their constituency is as much to blame. There is a reason it’s called the “party of stupid”
