MUELLER TESTIFIES BEFORE CONGRESS

(* this may need to be a sticky)

Minutes away from seeing whether Mueller will shine more light on his investigation as documented in his report.

Most people have not read this report - so even if he reads from it - people will know what it says definitively.

Not sure if there will be any new information - but surely Mueller will reiterate the significance of the facts he uncovered.

Lots of rabid Repub drama so far. They are basically "respectfully" yelling gotchas at him.

Agreed. Lots of grandstanding. Mueller is very restrained, but that was expected.

What is up with shouting how many pages or words were written about any given thing?? What a dumb tactic. Especially considering their re-tread investigations. The Repubs are firing questions at him like he has instant recall of every word, and then using his hesitation to inject what they want to say.

I hope we see the exchange between Jerry Nadler and Robert Mueller - where Nadler asked if the report "totally exonerated" unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump and Mueller said "No" - about 10,000,000 times between now and the 2020 election.

These situations, for whichever side of the political spectrum anyone believes in, shows which members of Congress are the most dogged and capable, and which ones are not. For and against. Again great TV.

Muellers age is showing sadly. This shows there comes a time people should step down when the job is too demanding.

He has different far worse issues. Mueller is sharp and dignified. I just merely noticed he is struggling.

I can only imagine what a stressful situation this would be, especially when you're dealing with that lying bastard in the WH.

What is up with shouting how many pages or words were written about any given thing?? What a dumb tactic. Especially considering their re-tread investigations. The Repubs are firing questions at him like he has instant recall of every word, and then using his hesitation to inject what they want to say.

Especially that Jordan guy.. he’s always a drama queen and a trump ass kisser.

That liuttle twerp thinks he's some kind of rebel because he won't wear a jacket, but he just looks like an immature frat boy or, as my friends across the pond would put it, a wanker.

He looked the other way while the wrestlers he coached at Ohio State were sexually molested.

Lol at ‘the little twerp’ reference. He also turns a blind eye to trump’s sexual harassment allegations. It seems like he’s always putting on a show for trump.

Trump supporters will use Mueller’s age as a weapon, because they’re not going to like that he said the report did not not exonerate trump, and that he confirmed that trump tried to use some of his staff to lie in order to fire him (Mueller).

It's in writing and it's a fact. Not that facts and truth mean anything to Trump supporters. wink

They need McGahn to corroberate the statements he gave to Mueller's team.

With the nation as partisan and as willing adjust their morality based on politics and willing to look away and even defend his actions solely via partisan lines, it’s still unclear to whether he will face punishment of consequence. There is a supposed news organization with the highest ratings that works tirelessly to support him and likewise the president works tirelessly to discredit any Information contrary to his defense.
We are living in a strange moment in time.

You’ll have to wait until Congress decides to impeach him or wait after he leaves office to see if he is going to prison.

The President is supposedly “upbeat” about today’s proceedings and have issued a statement that today was “a disaster for the Democrats”
They play the narrative and hope the media and everyone else bites.
