The acting U.S. Customs and Border Protection commissioner says he's stepping down amid outrage over detention conditions for children.

John Sanders has led the agency since a reshuffle of the immigration agencies by U.S. President Donald Trump.

The inhuman conditions that are discribed are dispicable - there is absolutley NO EXCUSE for the way these children were being treated. I canot wait until this fucking adminsitratoin is gone.

It does.

I saw it as a meme on Facebook so I don't know who to give credit for it, but that statement is really powerful.

This is really bad. The few photos coming out of the detention (jails) are horrendous.

Happy Birthday USA! 243 years in - and we're celebrating with tanks in Washingtion DC and abused children at the border of our neighbor country - so proud. disbelief

WASHINGTON — Congress sent President Trump a $4.6 billion humanitarian aid package on Thursday after Speaker Nancy Pelosi capitulated to Republicans and Democratic moderates and dropped her insistence on stronger protections for migrant children in overcrowded border shelters.

Sad, given what’s happening to migrant children in those facilities. I don’t know how he can turn his back on that, and have such a celebration. It’s like he’s taking his anger out on the children to punish their parents/guardians for crossing the border.
As an American you have a right to question/call your country out on its wrongs/injustices. That doesn’t make you un-American nor does anyone have a right to tell you to leave, because you have the courage to stand up against any injustice in this count

Trump is saying it's not true - fake news - he wants to press to go in and see for themselves (after they've cleaned up and mae it look better like they did for Melania)
