First democratic primary debates June 26& 27 2019

Dates: Wednesday, June 26, and Thursday, June 27
https://www.cnet.com/how-...-thursday/

When and where is the first Democratic debate?
The debate will take place over two nights -- Wednesday, June 26, and Thursday, June 27 -- in Miami.

What channel and time?
NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo will broadcast the debates from from 9 to 11 p.m. ET each night.

Which candidates are in each debate?
By random drawing, NBC selected the field of 10 candidates for each debate. The drawing was set up so that a mix of higher-profile and lesser-known candidates appeared each night.

The first group for Wednesday, June 26:

Former Housing Secretary Julián Castro
Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke of Texas
Former Rep. John Delaney of Maryland
Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York City
Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii
Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota
Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey
Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts
Washington Gov. Jay Inslee

The second group for Thursday, June 27:

Author Marianne Williamson
Entrepreneur Andrew Yang
Former Vice President Joe Biden
Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado
Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana
Rep. Eric Swalwell of California
Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont
Sen. Kamala Harris of California
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York
Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado

Who is moderating the debate?
NBC News' Lester Holt, Savannah Guthrie and Chuck Todd, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow and Telemundo's José Diaz-Balart will moderate the debate.

We’ll see. I’d like to what others see in her in a debate. She’s smart no doubt about it, but if Hillary and Gore lacked the a human element to win, if suddenly moans and points a finger at the audience like Pod lady from the body snatchers movies, ...then my hunch is correct.

He would be arrested for attempted pandering, but no one knows who he was trying to pander to. Insufficient evidence.

De Blasio has no chance in hell. He would do the party a favor leaving the race today.

Warren has no chance in hell.

Booker has no chance in hell.

So far only Tulsi and Beto gets to go forward for me.

All the other nameless people on the stage have no chance in hell and should call it quits today.

That still leaves what? 100’s Of of other nameless Democrats on the stage for tomorrow’s debate.

Drudge Report and washington Examiner? oh, hell no! lol

Tulsi was very composed, but did not particularly blow anyone away with her repsonses.

Oh boii.

To me he came off as shell shocked or drunk.

Turd would have had a field day with all these lightweights.

anyway.

By the end of this sad sad show, the thing that brought me hope, ....is today we ten more candidates to look at.

And I’m glad new comers Mayor Pete and Harris can be on the same stage as the seasoned pros Biden and Bernie so we can see them interact and judge them based on their interactions.

Most all the candidates from yesterday’s debate should do the party a huuuuge favor and disappear so the better candidates can have more time to air their views.

I know politics is a dumbed down game, but it felt like a children’s show yesterday. The goofy throwing out of an out of the blue political slogan when asked a tough question.

very disappointing.

Also disappointing are the “analysis” of yesterday’s debate by certain publications.

I know I’m not that bright either, but boy this was all lowest common denominator stuff. *and I keep telling myself, “this is politics, this is politics, it’s the way the games been played for centuries, just the way it is.

and perhaps that’s also why Turd won last election, ..why he was able to beat the odds and two major political machines and the “analysts” that report about it because the silly game is silly to everyone but the those who are still stubbornly playing it. The same silly way.
And while they played their silly game, he played them.

He played CNN that’s for sure. I still blame CNN all these years later. They fell into it the trap ratings first. And both benefitted getting exactly what both wanted .

The proper answer to the question of "How would you handle Mitch McConnell if the GOP keeps the Senate?" is that you'd use the same power that unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump uses, which is:

Everything.

You'd do anything and everything, whether it be by executive action, or recess appointments, or presidential fiat. Who cares? Do it and if the GOP wants to whine, let them whine. If they want to sue, let them sue. All you'd have to stretch it out, until the 2022 midterms when it's much more likely the Democrats can take the Senate.

But until then? Just do what you want. That is the precedent that has been set and screw anyone that wants to whine about the other guy using it.
