Here’s the story of how Trump raised money for his failing Atlantic City casino.
The place was loss tons of money. Trump could not get a loan because of his history of default so he turned to junk bonds. The firm knew the odds of Trump making good on the bonds was close to zero but pushed them to pension funds and investment companies because- Trump promised the could have a weekend at his Florida golf resort all expensive paid. Think about that the next time someone Says Social Security should be privatized or dismantled.

Again, I congratulate Trump for his ability to manipulate those whose skills at critical thinking are not very strong

^ nod and that's anyone wearing a MAGA hat.

Lmao.. he definitely is good at conning his supporters.

On that note, I ran across a documentary that was on the history channel titled ‘Who were Donald Trump’s grandparents?’ through a streaming tv service. In it, it states Trump’s dad rejected his german ancestry and claimed his family was Swedish, in order to appeal to Jewish renters, and his son Donald trump carried that same lie into his book ‘Art of the Deal.’ So trump learned the ‘lie and con game’ from his granddad and father early on. So in all these forms there is NOTHING that even hints at him breaking any laws. Now maybe the IRS found a few things they did not accept... maybe he had to pay more or whatever...

I wish the left would just call this all what it is! An attempt to embarrass him... you all did not get your wish that he is in Russia's pocket (the irony is there is actual evidence that both hellary and batrock were) was dashed (and some of y'all mad about it) have to make up something to hurt him and throw a wrench into him doing his job.

What's really funny is my neighborhood is not only one of the most diverse in America, but is in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's congressional district!

newsweek.com After The New York Times obtained a decade's worth of President Donald Trump's tax information showing more than $1 billion in business losses over that time, New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggested that the leader might have some explaining to do.

"Wouldn’t you think someone who personally lost over a BILLION dollars ('more than nearly any other taxpayer in America') [might] be vulnerable to shady activity to get out of that hole?" Ocasio-Cortez tweeted on Tuesday evening, after the Times' findings came to light.

"If they became the most powerful public servant in America, wouldn’t you want to see their taxes?" Ocasio-Cortez said.

He's lied and cheated on everyone and everything else in his life , so you're right, it should be no surprise

But imagine the reaction of some on here if Clinton or Obama simply refused to comply with lawful subpoenas, like Trump and his cronies are doing

She was under investigation for how long? And even the Republican led investigation couldn't find anything, but Trump and his supporters still chant: "Lock her up" at his rallies. If she had refused to show up for a hearing, chose to ignore a subpoena, refused to do anything that was asked of her, in the manner that Trump and his ilk have been, they would have arrested her by now and the Republicans would have been salivating at the chance to "get back at her" for her perceived wrongdoings.

And Hannity the nutcase racist, would be spinning it to no end. Lying is acceptable when it is one of their own. They have no dignity whatsoever. It’s so funny when they think others want to embarrass trump, when he does that with little effort all his own. Lol. His dunce supporters don’t want to believe he is a liar, cheat, racist, conman and bs artist. They’re so stuck between his legs, they don’t want to let go, and he just keeps spoonfeeding them bs, because he knows they’re too stupid to see through him. If he has nothing to hide, then he should release his taxes.

I will be happy to see the day the women who accused him of sexual harassment have their day in court, and when SDNY makes their case against him, once he’s out of office. He won’t be able to use the office of the president to hide his crimes. I will celebrate when he is finally voted out.

Since it's been shown that Trump lost over a billion dollars in a decade, where has he been getting his money from, and what has he had to do to get it....
And why are there people who claim that they don't care about this... but would have mentioned it 15 times a day if Obama or Clinton had "secret " sources of income or wealth

LOL so now you want to invent that he MUST have some secret income? and another straw man? HA! Oh and I suspect both the obama's and the clinton's net worth had increased since they were elected.

You also seem to not understand how money and income tax work... see you can make money... and have a loss... in fact, the only reason to claim a loss is to off set other gains. And not all income is taxable. Are there tricks we can use? Sure! Some call them loopholes, but really anyone could use them they just are not worth it for most people.

But so far nothing in his stolen and illegally publish documents has been shown to be illegal or even particularly questionable... not being able to comprehend the amounts is not the same thing...

True, and people are saying - that was when a billion dollars was a billion dollars. More than anyone else in the entire country lost. That is significant. As Ocasio-Cortez poses - how did he get out of that hole?

So true. There is something there, or he wouldn't be freaking out trying to get people to cover for him all the time.

Here's the latest - https://www.thedailybeast...an-mueller

Trump: I Wanted to Fire Don McGahn More Than Mueller

...The president tweeted (yesterday).“Actually, lawyer Don McGahn had a much better chance of being fired than Mueller. Never a big fan!” McGahn, who is said to have testified to special counsel Robert Mueller about Trump urging him to remove Mueller from the Russia investigation, reportedly rejected a request from the Trump administration to publicly announce that he didn't view that request as obstruction of justice.

The second article on that link is real interesting too. More Republicans need to come to their senses.

Longest-Serving Iowa Republican Becoming a Democrat, Blames Trump

In a stinging op-ed in the Atlantic, Iowa’s longest-serving legislator Andy McKean says he is becoming a Democrat because of President Donald Trump’s “reckless spending and shortsighted financial policies; his erratic, destabilizing foreign policy; and his disdain and disregard for environmental concerns.” McKean writes that he might have “limped along” to work for the Republican Party, but the 2020 presidential election made him decide to become a Democrat. “He sets a poor example for the nation and our children,” McKean writes. “He delivers personal insults, often in a crude and juvenile fashion, to those who disagree with him, and is a bully at a time when we’re attempting to discourage bullying, on- and offline.” The elder statesman, who was first elected to the state legislature in 1978, continued: “In addition, he frequently disregards the truth and displays a willingness to ridicule or marginalize people for their appearance, ethnicity, and disability.”
