He does NOT have widespread support on this - just his 35% base which stays consistent even if he lies to their faces and tells them they now need to pay for the unnecessary wall.

He is asking for American dollars not Mexican pesos - what aren't they getting?

On Don Lemon’s show he mentioned that some people are comparing trump’s wall to the ‘Game of Thrones’ wall, where the characters want to keep the Whitewalkers from climbing over the wall. So some people are calling trump’s wall the ‘Brown Wall’, since he trump wants so badly to keep Brown people from other countries from entering this country, whether legal or illegal. Hmmm... seems spot on to me.

I also hear they are calling Trump supporters Wall Nuts lol

That's exactly what I believe nod Trump is trying to distract everybody. He created this "fake crisis" so that we won't focus on the Mueller investigation.

Absolutely! He really must be shaking in his boots with the latest Manafort news. He knows many of his delusional base, will believe anything he says. He tried to use the lies about the ‘Caravan’ during the mid-term elections, to cause fear, and in hopes of getting a large number of voters to vote for those Repub candidates he campaigned for, yet it backfired on him. Now he uses the ‘wall’ as his ammo, and shuts the government down at the expense of federal workers, to take the focus off the Mueller investigation. [Edited 1/9/19 17:37pm]

No connection directly to Trump. Complete Fail. No collusion time for Mueller to move on and go after people he can really put in jail like the Clintons and Obamas who sold uranium to Russians for payout to Clinton Foundation.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

Roger Waters considers performing Pink Floyd’s The Wall on US-Mexico border

Though Roger Waters did not write Pink Floyd’sThe Wall as an allegory about any real-life structure, the band’s 1979 opus subsequently took on such an interpretation. In July 1990, Waters performed the album in Berlin, Germany to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall eight months earlier. Now, he’s planning a similar concert in protest of Donald Trump’s planned wall separating the southern border between the US and Mexico.

I LOVE it! Back in the 70s it was the musicians who contributed socially via their art form to protesting the war... in the 2000s it seems to be the comedians who have taken up this form of protest. It's about time the musicians came back into the foray. music

Agree! Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ will be a perfect protest song against looney, delusional trump holding Americans hostage. He could open the government in a whim, but his selfish, disgusting ego refuses to. Now many Fed workers are out protesting against the shutdown. Trump really doesn’t give a damn who is suffering from his selfish decision to shut down the government. He keeps blaming Pelosi and Schumer, and they are not the ones who shut down the government. Trump or Mitch McConnell can get the government open if they want to.

I guess his "rallying of the troops" isn't working as he'd hope. Seems the other side is rallying too, possibly even stronger. I'm feeling better now with what I'm seeing in my neck of the woods.

I think of at least 5... but there are 2 pretty much opposite functions. The Burlin wall had one and the border wall has the other.
