I absolutely agree. I’m loving that Pelosi is standing her ground. This shutdown proves he’s full of bull about caring about the security of the country.

He is only concerned about building a ‘Brown’ wall to appease his twisted supporters like Coulter, Limbaugh and Hannity and the white nationalists’ segment of his base, because they hold the same racial bias against non-White immigrants, as he does.

FEBRUARY 13, 2016
(3yr anniversary up coming)

Today at the Youtube Round Table, Camelot Castle England, Donald Trump was awarded an hereditary, honorary Camelot Castle Knighthood and was made a of Knight of The Round Table. This Historic and noble, very rarely granted honour, "The Excalibur Award" was awarded to Mr Trump along with the Arms and Colours of Camelot Castle for extending tremendous courage and noble intentions towards his country and to the world.

At the announcement Camelot Castle recognised that Mr Trump in forwarding his Campaign for the Presidency of the United States has achieved an extraordinary victory already in that his independent thinking and his expression of such has been a great victory for Free Speech not just in the United States but in the rest of the world too.

i'm pretty sure most of you are aware if this, it is the first i've heard of donnie being awarded the title of a "royal sir"
hmmmmm, I wonder if he's gonna celebrate his "sir" title in february should his wa wa wall be installed?

Let’s hope the shutdown helps vote trump out of office. He is proving everyday with this shutdown, that he does not care about the federal workers and how this shutdown is affecting their lives. Those food lines across the country reminds me of pics of the depression era. He is not offering anything to help those Fed workers who owe a motgage payment. He’s not telling banks to hold off on demanding payments from federal worker homeowners. If many homeowners lose their homes, they are not going to forget that they lost it because of the shutdown. It’s also affecting many businesses.

Agreed.

Because he didn't get his way - he is now going to postpone his SOTU untill after the shutdown - as if that is the reason he decided to do it. Pelosi won that round.

Thanks for posting this - made me chuckle. In case you weren't aware, Camelot Castle is the name of a hotel in Cornwall - even funnier that they lifted the exact hotel logo to use in the background. Really this was gold! Thanks for posting.

Defying Trump Administration, Calif. Offers Federal Workers Unemployment Benefits

LISTEN·1:501:50 QUEUE

California Gov. Gavin Newsom, right, hugs TSA employee Miguel Pagarigan at the Sacramento International Airport Thursday. "Because of the shutdown and being furloughed ... I had to put a 'For Sale' sign on my house on Sunday," Pagarigan said.

Rich Pedroncelli/AP

California Gov. Gavin Newsom says the Trump administration has told states they can't offer unemployment benefits to federal employees who are required to report to work without pay during the government shutdown.

Newsom called a letter sent to states by the U.S. Department of Labor "jaw-dropping and extraordinary" as he met with TSA workers at the Sacramento International Airport Thursday afternoon. "So, the good news is, we're going to do it, and shame on them."

The governor explained that California will offer the workers unemployment coverage, despite the federal government telling the state it can't do so for workers still on the job. Newsom says he believes California is on strong legal footing.

Transportation Security Administration employee Miguel Pagarigan, who commutes about 40 miles from Vacaville, Calif. each day, said he's not sure how long he can afford to go without pay as the shutdown continues.

"Because of the shutdown and being furloughed — or basically, not being paid — I had to put a 'for sale' sign on my house on Sunday," Pagarigan said, beginning to cry as he spoke.

The Trump administration does not appear to be opposing unemployment benefits for federal workers who are staying home during the shutdown.

Newsom's appearance follows a protest by two dozen federal workers at the airport Wednesday.

Phil Miedema, a 68-year-old federal employee, said he was supposed to retire in December but the shutdown held up his paperwork.

"I'm not spending money," Miedema said. "In fact I was I was concerned just driving out here wasting the gas and have to pay for parking so I could have my voice heard. My lifestyle is just on total hold."

Miedema said he has one month's savings and after that he'll have to take out a loan to pay next month's bills.

His Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross looked like a complete idiot on CNBC - as friendly a network as there is that doesn't start with "Fox". And they BARBECUED his fossilized ass. Rightly so - this grifter said it wasn't HIS fault people were going hungry. Why, it's THEIR fault for not going to a bank and getting a loan.

And speaking of CNBC, former CNBC talking head/now White House Economic Advisor Larr yKuldow said today that federal workers are working without pay out of respect for Donald J. Trump. Yeah, this didn't go so well for Kudlow:

California Gov. Gavin Newsom says the Trump administration has told states they can't offer unemployment benefits to federal employees who are required to report to work without pay during the government shutdown.

"Because of the shutdown and being furloughed — or basically, not being paid — I had to put a 'for sale' sign on my house on Sunday," Pagarigan said, beginning to cry as he spoke.

Maybe all the states should do the same for Fed workers. At least it would give them some relief until the shutdown is over. I can’t believe that evil trump told States they couldn’t give unemployment benefits during this shut down. He’s taking the shutdown out on Fed workers.

It's YOU!

Commerce Grifter Wilbur Ross says any bank should make these loans since the president signed a bill guaranteeing that federal workers would get paid for the Trump Shutdown time off. "Why, these are federally-guaranteed loans!" he said. "Sure, the borrowers might have to pay a little interest but still - these are federally-guaranteed loans".

Ross Tha Grifter did not address federal contractors who are NOT able to work during the Trump Shutdown and are NOT going to get any back pay and can NOT get a "federally-guaranteed" loan.

What an out of touch grifter that guy is. An embarrassment to our country.

Just FYI:

Since the Johnson Space Center cannot afford to pay janitorial services or workers, the few employees there now have to clean the restrooms. So if you're a rocket scientist, your job duties these days are:

1. Make sure the International Space Station is operational
2. Make sure the lives and safety of the astronauts onboard the ISS is protected at all times
3. Clean the restrooms at Mission Control

lol Bet they are more careful with the condition they leave it. Not that they're not careful in the first place.

Seriously though, a lot of people are stepping up trying to help the best way they can. Giving out gas cards, gift cards. Food banks. Hearing the Coast Guard does tell you how wide it's spreading.

So they can take out a loan to cover the pay they are not getting because some numbskull want s a wall and to pour salt on the wound they are being charged interest to pay back the loan that they do not even want in the first place?

hug Uncertainty is stressful. I'm looking for extra work too. People aren't buying online either, unless it's necessities. It's a lot harder to catch up once you get behind, everything gets a late fee tacked on.

They gave federal workers who own homes an extension on their property taxes due Jan 31 here. This is no joke for people. A woman who runs a diner that serves mostly federal workers, I think it was Utah, has no customers. She has about 2 more weeks of no business before she has to close.

Through all the government shut downs the federal employee's always get the shaft, and just have to wait it out. This time is different, it has gone on longer then any other shut down and I don't have a job to pick up the slack, like I did before.

My boss hasn't released my 401k plan yet, but when he does I can take some money out of that, but I really, really don't want to have to do that. = Huge taxes.

We'll get thru it, I'm just so angry at this point.

Thank you all, it means a lot!
