Not sure where this info came from but let's say he did - Sanders and Stein were not anti-muslim so what's your point? What his guy did was beyound dispicable.

I agree 1o0% we can't blame any politicians for this attack. Waves of attacks on innocent people happens after major terrorist attacks like Manchester. I also don't stand for any attacks.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

I do not believe this attack on the train had anything to do with what happened in Manchester - but who knows what set this guy off. Seems he was publicy spouting hate speech even before then.

Maybe but I guarantee you hate grows from attacks like 9-11, Manchester and Bataclan. We will leave that work to the criminologists not the Dimi's of the world.

Of course it does, that's a no-brainer. Not even all Christians buy into the "Love Thy Enemy" thing. You've got people here like [snip - luv4u] who still harbor intense hatred of all white people because of what long-dead white people did over 400 years ago, so forgive those few Americans who are angry at Muslims for all the killing of innocent men, women and children during the past few years. It's not right, but in some people it's human nature.

More on this guy. Anyone trying to excuse this guy for his racist ideology, rants, verbal anti-Muslim, and other racist attacks, rants, and killing two innocent people, seriously needs to get their heads examined. Thank goodness they got him
off the streets. He was consumed with too much hate.

The Man Accused of MAX Double Murder Is a Portland White Supremacist Who Delivered Nazi Salutes and Racial Slurs at a "Free Speech" Rally Last Month

"I know because I interviewed him last month."

By Corey Pein | Published May 27 at 7:13 AM

"I shook the alleged killer's filthy hand 28 days ago. Mine feels tainted now, as though I somehow sanctioned his reported act, though I was only trying to get some information out of him.

He had just marched through Montavilla Park chanting "n****r" and throwing fascist salutes, wearing an American Revolutionary War flag like a cape.

It was this act that sparked the first moment of chaos at the "free speech" rally on April 29 in Montavilla Park, which then proceeded down 82nd Avenue, a miserable replacement for a neighborhood parade canceled due to the threat of political violence. The man in the flag cape was quickly swarmed by scrawny young antifa kids, then by officers from the Portland Police Bureau.

After the scrum dispersed, I stood by watching while police searched his backpack. They seemed to know that, prior to the march, he had posted a Facebook message threatening to "shoot to kill POLICE if they ATTEMPT DISARM" anyone openly carrying a firearm to the rally.

"Any guns in there?" an officer asked.

"Just comic books," he said. He was a big fan.

"I think that guy is mentally ill," one of the officers confided.

Almost certainly. Jeremy Joseph Christian, 35, who was arrested yesterday on suspicion of killing two men who tried to protect two dark-skinned women wearing hijabs from his racist abuse, is also a notorious racist from North Portland who networked with other racists when he wasn't doing time (and, presumably, when he was)."

When he extended his hand, I noticed the Nordic rune tattoos on his forearm. On his Facebook page, amid rants against organized religion and memes poking fun at Jews sentenced to die in the Nazi concentration camps, were other posts revealing his crazed "Misanthropic Nihilist" philosophy.]/color{

Christian expressed support for "Sanders/Stein 2017″—which some will certainly seize upon as a distraction. And it is a distraction, because the main current of Christian's ravings, online and off, was race hatred. "I want a job in Norway cutting off the heads of people that Circumcize Babies," he wrote.

On a fake news story showing Hillary Clinton wearing a hijab: "I'll knock that Hijab off her faster than you can say Burka in Pig Latin if she steps in Rip City."

1He called President Donald Trump the antichrist, but meant it as a compliment.

"If Donald Trump is the Next Hitler then I am joining his SS to put an end to Monotheist Question. All Zionist Jews, All Christians who do not follow Christ's teaching of Love, Charity, and Forgiveness And All Jihadi Muslims are going to Madagascar or the Ovens/FEMA Camps!!! Does this make me a fascist!!!"

And so on: "If you support Israel for Zionist homeland for Jews then you should also support Cascadia as a White homeland for whites only racists…"

"I'm not Anti-Semitic. I'm Anti-Zionist and Anti-Monotheist.

[color=blue{Accused MAX Murderer Shouts in Court Hearing: “Death to the Enemies of America”
Protesters outside the courtroom peppered Portland police with verbal abuse, calling them Nazi sympathizers.

By Elise Herron | Published 3:20 PM

A defiant Jeremy Joseph Christian, the accused murderer of two men who confronted his anti-Muslim screed on a MAX train, appeared in Multnomah County Circuit Court for arraignment this afternoon and continued to espouse his radical beliefs.

"Get out if you don't like free speech," Christian shouted at the crowd gathered in the courtroom, which included the families of the MAX killing victims and the attack's survivor, Micah David-Cole Fletcher.

"Death to the enemies of America," he continued. "You call it terrorism. I call it patriotism."

The hearing was interrupted by at least one person who entered the courtroom screaming at court officials and police that they were protecting a killer.

Left-wing protesters, including longtime racial-justice activist Teressa Raiford, gathered in the hall outside the courtroom, joined by friends of the slaying victims. Several of them wore emblems of antifascist, or antifa, groups.

You're working overtime trying to excuse this guy for his racist ideology, and stealing the lives of the heroes he attacked. There is plenty of info on this monster now, to prove his support, for racist ideology, which he spewed in public in front of many witnesses. Stop glorifying him, and show some respect for the lives he stole instead.

Info on victims/victims' families:

The Mother Of One Of The Portland Attack Victims Wrote A Powerful Letter To Trump

Taliesin Namkai-Meche’s mother has called on President Trump to “take action” in condemning acts of violence “which result directly from hate speech & hate groups.”

Posted on May 30, 2017, 18:21 GMT

BuzzFeed News Reporter
On Friday, 23-year-old Taliesin Namkai-Meche was stabbed to death on a Portland train after trying to intervene when a man shouted hate speech towards two young women, one of whom was wearing a hijab, according to police.

Ricky John Best, a 53-year-old Army veteran and father of four, was also killed in the attack. Micah David-Cole Fletcher, 21, was stabbed but survived, and is now in recovery.

The three have been lauded as American heroes, and people have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to honor them.

Over the weekend, neither President Trump nor the White House publicly mentioned the attack, which had garnered national headlines. An open letter from former CBS News anchor Dan Rather urging Trump to publicly honor the victims went viral.

On Monday, President Trump tweeted that the attacks were “unacceptable” from his @POTUS account.

Surviving MAX train victim describes man with knife threatening to 'decapitate' people

Update at 2:50 p.m.: Suspect Jeremy Christian yelled out during his arraignment in court Tuesday afternoon, shouting shortly after he entered the courtroom:

"Free speech or die Portland. You got no safe place. This is America. Get out if you don't like free speech."

After he briefly conferred with his attorney and signed documents, he shouted:

"Death to the enemies of America. Leave this country if you hate our freedom. Death to Antifa. "

His parting words: "You call it terrorism. I call it patriotism. You hear me? Die."

That's when sounds of yelling filtered in from outside in the hallway.

About 20 people had gathered there when the courtroom filled up. Some said they were friends of attack survivor Micah Fletcher, who was stabbed in the neck. Some yelled "bigot," "murderer" when they heard what Christian said.

The hallway commotion halted court action.

Fletcher was in the courtroom at the time. He was led out of the courtroom through a separate locked door where defendants usually enter.

Earlier, a man who said he was a friend of Christian's got booed by Fletcher's supporters in the hallway.

Micah Fletcher, the surviving victim of Friday's MAX train attack, told investigators that the man with the knife threatened to decapitate people, according to a probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday.

TriMet surveillance video and personal cellphone videos reviewed by police caught Jeremiah "Jeremy" Joseph Christian yelling racial and religious epithets and stabbing three men, a Portland homicide detective wrote in the affidavit. Each of the men suffered stab wounds to the neck.

Witness Recounts Final Words of Portland Stabbing Victim: ‘I Want Everyone on the Train to Know I Love Them’

BY STEPHANIE PETITPOSTED ON MAY 30, 2017 AT 9:29AM EDT

A woman who comforted Portland, Oregon, train stabbing victim Taliesin Myrddin Namkai-Meche in his final moments says his last words were ones of kindness.

Rachel Macy, who was riding the MAX train on Friday when Jeremy J. Christian allegedly stabbed three men, killing two, after they intervened when Christian harassed a Muslim woman, told local TV station KOIN that she comforted Namkai-Meche because she “just didn’t want him to be alone.”
“I took my shirt off and put it on him. We held it together, I just prayed, all I could do was pray,” Macy told the station.
“He said, ‘Tell them, I want everybody to know, I want everybody on the train to know, I love them,’ ” Macy added. “He was a beautiful man, that’s what I want people to know.”

Macy attended a memorial gathering at the Hollywood Transit station honoring the victims. Thousands attended, including Namkai-Meche’s family.
