Racism in America Has Only Gotten Worse Since Trump's Victory

many can see

drumpf's becoming the u s president represents a revelation of how his spewing out racist garbage during his campaign gave fuel to the racist mindsets in our country.

like hitler, d drumpf subtely became the spokesperson for many of the racist in america during his climb into the top seat in our country.

you see imo hitler was the spokesperson for the racist mentality against the jewish people.

now drumpf has given the racist in the u s the courage to be more overt and he has given their cowardness the gonads to act out in the face of all because our pre elect president sanctioned them with his racist rhetoric.

November 11 2016

It's only been three days since Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States. But in that time, there have already been a terrifying number of reports of sickening acts of white supremacy in this country. These are just a sampling of the racist, homophobic, and disgusting things that have happened since Election Day. A larger sampling can be seen on this Twitter thread.

A sampling of the hatred reported in three days of Trump's America.

Immigrants receiving letters under their doors to say they will be evicted because their building is now white Americans-only.

Racist graffiti scribbled on the bathroom doors of high school–Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Middle school students chanting "Build A Wall" in their cafeteria-Royal Oak, Michigan.

The return of the swastika.

Physical, verbal, and written attacks on people who appear Muslim.

Gay couples being told that their marriage will soon be overturned.

Sexual assault.

Mexicans being taunted about being deported to the other side of the wall.

The words "Black Lives Don't Matter And Neither Does Your Vote" spray-painted on a wall–Durham, North Carolina.

A return to the Jim Crow days, with "Colored" and "Whites Only" signs posted over water fountains at First Coast high school–Jacksonville, Florida.

A resurgence of the N word, in both verbal and written form.

And if that's not enough, here's a black baby doll that was found hanging from a rope in a college elevator–Canisius College, Buffalo, New York.

eek

what say yea?

Donald Trump looked the camera right in the eye last night and told those people, "Stop it. Don't do it". Hopefully they will take his request to heart.

I laughed at the new daddy in chief basically wagging his finger and admonishing his children. It could only have been better if he'd said, "don't make me pull over!"

I mean, yeah, on a serious note he should say something, but he seemed so adorably befuddled that this was even a thing, caught totally unaware (ha), and so he looked into the camera and said, "stop it." It's kind of like watching him try to put the poo back into a donkey.

Sadly, many of those people were taught to hate. They need to denounce white supremacy because that is what has kept America divided for years.

Bannon and his cronies are about that belief and Bannon, will bring that ignorant ideology into the White House. It's sad that trump would even give him a position on his staff knowing his history. Many persons of color and religious faiths, that trump disrespected with his hate rhetoric, during his campaign, will not take his message, to some of his trumpers, seriously, by telling them to 'Stop it', because trump just hired a known white nationalist, with a history of racial hatred to work with him, secondly, trump was the one who encouraged some of his trumpers to use violence with his hate rhetoric, during his campaign. Sad days ahead in America.

i would say magnified somewhat...and i am sure some of the reports and cases are actually the work of trump protesters. And we all also know that the trump protesters have within their ranks people that h=just want to do bad stuff and they seem to me to be doing more bad things than the pro-trumpers.

I don't doubt that there are people who have thought these things and think that now that Trump is elected, it justifies their beliefs.

But given that it's known that there are paid professional protesters at some of these anti-Trump protests, and that there were folks being paid to incite violence at some of Trump's rallies, I wouldn't in the least be surprised of some of these (NOTE THAT I SAID "SOME, NOT ALL" BECAUSE I KNOW SOME OF Y'ALL AREN"T BIG ON READING) incidents were the work of folks being paid to try and stir up some shit. It wouldn't surprise me, especially because it seems like a lot of the things that used to seem implausible are actually happening these days.

Your strategy of defeating Trump by comparing him to Hitler worked as well as 2elijah's strategy of repeatedly posting "Trump will lose. Lol".

I told you guys that wouldn't work. But you wouldn't listen. You have only yourselves to blame.

ur reply seems so typical of u rodeo.

many others besides myself have done the same comparison. even now. so in conclusion, many of them actually admire hitler. the proof is in the pudding.

(go back and review past post and see a lot of other orgers did the drumpf/hitler comparison both made the climb upon a racist platform. sad that our country reflects a racist pov)

I didn't vote for him. I voted for Hillary Clinton.

The point isn't whether or not you can compare Trump to Hitler. The point is whether or not making that comparison was a good way to convince people to vote for Clinton instead of Trump/Hitler.

In the swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania this strategy was a complete and utter failure. As was the strategy of repeatedly posting "Trump will lose. Lol" in response to arguments made by people FOR Trump.

In case you missed it, Clinton lost this election because Democratic turn-out in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania was down as compared to 2012. If each of those states had simply had the SAME turn-out as four years ago, Clinton wins the election.

But no. Apparently people thought posting "Trump = Hitler!" and "Trump will lose. Lol" was good enough to get those people to the polls.

It wasn't. And I told you it wouldn't be good enough. Those of you who concentrated on bromides and cartoons instead of actual campaign issues have only yourselves to blame for President Donald J. Trump.

Lol. So who told you Blacks think they can't make it in society because some can comfortably discuss race? So you and the other nervous, clueless orgers who think that Blacks who discuss race is because we let it get us 'down?' Lmao. No dude many Black Americans can talk about it, because they are not afraid to discuss it. Do you really think most ofBlack Americans' ancestors would not have survived had they not have the strength and diligence to handle it? Again lmao. You are so out of touch. I think you and your buddies don't like the topic because it makes your conscience uncomfortable or you wouldn't spend so much time attacking Black orgers who discuss it.

I told you time and time and time again that posting "Trump will lose. Lol" in response to people arguing for Trump was a losing strategy. You clearly weren't the only one who thought that was all it would take to beat Trump. About 600,000 lazy good-for-nothing Democratic voters in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania felt that way too, and didn't bother to vote. Which cost Hillary Clinton the election.

You need admit that your strategy was a failure, instead of blaming "racist" Trump voters. This election is incredibly simple to figure out: lower-than-2012-turn-out in MI, WI and PA cost Clinton the election. She won the popular vote - by a lot - and yet lost the election because of those three states.

Anyone that wants to do the research will find 5 or 10 or 15 posts from me to you, telling you that you were underestimating Trump. I was 100% right.

And yes, I sure did vote for Trump in the Texas GOP primary. As I've stated many times before, it was what I felt the best, most effective thing I could do to keep alleged senator Rafael Cruz from winning Texas.

Trump is what he is. Cruz is 1,000 times worse, in my opinion. I'm not sorry one bit that I did what I could to try and beat Cruz in Texas.
