Michael Moore got his fat ass booed

That dumb fat bastard got a nice dose of boos at the Academy Awards. Good for him.

The only thing right about Micheal Moore is the way he consumes food... he seems to do that right, the fat fuck.

U2 just changed the verse from the "Hands that Built America" from talking about the Twin Towers to talking about the war. I didn't make out the lyrics though, anyone else get them?

The fact that people booed that ignorant fucking asshole gives me a tiny bit of hope for Hollywood.

I was surprised the audience reacted as they did. But they did the right thing. He was way out of line with that shit. Obese cocksucker.

He said what a lot of people are thinking and feeling. Not only that but he also said it intelligently and articulately and honestly. He did not put up a front and keep quiet like everyone else is doing (just to keep the masses happy). Say what you will, and you will, but it was the most real, unscripted moment all night.

People are there for the awards, not for a fucking speech that bashes out president. There's a time and place for everything. He picked the wrong time and the wrong place.

There was nothing unscripted about it; it was as rehearsed as everything else that happens.

I actually was waiting for him to win because I knew exactly what he was going to do and say, and what the end result would be.

yeah, you're right, unscripted was a wrong choice of words. Heartfelt or precise would be more accurate.

Why aren't you fuckers critisizing the content of his speech rather than the size of his ass?

Because he's RIGHT, that's why.

I think we've made it clear that his speech was inappropriate. That overweight bitch.

what's really funny is that people are calling michael moore dumb while using terms like dumb fat ass and "overweight bitch".

just a thought...

I think he picked exactly the right time and place. It's a great podium/soapbox. Why shouldn't he scream the truth from the hilltops when he gets a chance? Why should he pander to hollywood fluff and the media PC-ism?

What is WRONG with you people? Have you all lost your everlovin' MINDS? I would expect Moore to have a lot of fans on a site full of thinking, anti-establishment people such as (most of) yourselves.

WHY? Because lots of people who would rather not think about the people on the other side of the world are listening?

No. Perfect time and place.

We all see the war coverage 24/7. People need a break from that once in a while. He tried to fuck it all up, but he got shot down.

what is, exactly, the right time and place? his films are of a political and social nature. the night is suppposed to honor film and it's artists. he won an award for one of his provocative films. please don't get caught up in hollywood and all of it's pc, gutless attempts at pleasing the masses. art is for expression. a night to honor art should be FULL of expression.

did you also not appreciate steve martin's stabs at the ironic and superficialities (is that even a word?) of hollywood and the entertainment industry?

So with that said, if someone wanted to take a hot, steaming dump on the stage, that would be cool, cuz they're expressing themselves, right?

Steve Martin did a great job.

A break? A BREAK? We are BOMBING people! I'm sorry, we don't GET a break while our government is practicing its new policy of empirialism. Sorry to stress you out, man.

Edit: well, I guess our empirialism isn't new. It's only that we are now admitting it.
