Don't you think that life is sort of like a video game. I mean... really, what's the point?


We all know we're going to die eventually. Yet, we go through the motions of working to make money, so that we can buy, buy, buy... we go through our daily lives as if we're programmed to do so. I mean... if we're only here for 60-70 years, why not just barter instead of slaving away to gain things that really may or may not matter in the end. Why not just offer our services, our food, etc... instead of whomever has the most money has the better "life". (Though, I do not believe that those with the most money/status always lead the better or more fulfilling life). We go to school to gain knowledge to advance in the world, so we make more money and can purchase wonderful things. The only good thing that I see about the human race, is that some do volunteer, or help others in whatever way that they can, so that they can have a chance at going through the same motions as the rest of us while they're here.

It's such a dog eat dog world and we love and hate and work and buy and have great times and bad times, we perform surgery to give those a bit longer at life... for what? For the moment?

I was just thinking of various video games and comparing them to life. They're very similar and in the end, if you're really good, you can survive the video game.

This is not to bring anyone down.... just something going through my mind as of late. And, as we know... I usually post those thoughts here.

Ugh, you need to go to some sort of "thread starting" seminar or something...
