Went to the local one from work and they have a great stall with all kinds of olives there, I spent a fortune, but they are too nice not to eat

We have farmers markets in my area, which are wonderful, the prices are not high but the are hard to get to when you have a job and the sorts. They are on a weekday from like 6am-10am. Rarely are they on the weekends.

Ex-Moderator | Thursdays are farmers market day in Mpls. Fresh fruit and veggies and flowers and stuff all up and down Nicollet mall downtown (which isn't like a shopping mall, it's a street). |

Sunday mornings.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, for organic. I like your clean market thread. Olives rock. We can buy wine at our market too. Bring your own jug, and they fill it up for you!

There is a great market here in Sheffield. It sells cheese, wine and meat from all over Europe and will be touring again in the first weekend of July. I also like the touring German market they have every year at Christmas in Manchester. You can get a really tasty Bratwurst and a nice pint of German beer for 2.00.
