Moderator | share your vision post something...a song a photo a poem...something that reflects your life at this second...
I just wrote this, I know it sucks... I just don't care This is a song for the broken hearted….. Overflowing ashtrays Cell phone bills you can’t pay Loss of appetites Wishing for death Or an email Or Anything Anything at all to happen Waiting Wallowing Wasting Time Heals All In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

is it the way my hair falls across my face
or you gently pushing it back into place? your arms, my respite - times desperate or calm your fingers tracing life and love lines on my palm the scent you left on me the battle fought between you and you vacillation before you made your move starkitty rocks my box.

Moderator | Ok I'm thinking this....
putting a band aid on a bullet wound won't cure shit. most of us do this...we think we are compensating...we think we are doing what we need to do at that moment in time when in truth all we are doing is supplementing...we treat symptoms and not the disease but yet we think we are close to a cure. we bullshit...ourselves out of the great experiences in life because we want to avoid pain...confusion. we all want to feel safe when in reality there is NO such thing as security. We all drown in a sea of our own making instead of allowing the tide to take us where it will we will never have peace or serenity until we own up to our own faults we will never get where we need to be if we are constantly holding ourselves back.... don't mind me ...no I'm not drinking... I'm just thinking extra hard tonight In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Painting the walls a coating of white
Moving the brush while holding you tight Painting in places where darkness meets light Painting for hours from morning 'till night Painting the walls of your love Brushing softly like a hand in a glove Touching every corner, covering the pink Coloring perfectly without having to think Painting only with the color of white While a kaleidoscope of colors in sight Is only what your blinded eyes can see Feeling the entire spectrum through me NCC2012... your local Trekkie. =/\=

A tear drop fell upon the rose that she held close to her breast in sympathy, the petals closed as she saw her love at rest the rose, it seemed to feel her pain as one by one her petals fell and upon the stems of thorns now fell, the pouring rain. Bending down, she picked the petals and to herself she drew them near she saw in the rose her broken heart and on the pillow her fallen tear. Between the pages of a book she placed the petals tenderly and the rose, it shed a tear as if it cried in sympathy the words on the pages read forever, my love, remember me and when you see a rose of red remember, love, to remember me.

As the sun is slowly setting
And the evening shadows grow I think back on days gone by To a place I'd like to go. Back to a place in my childhood When days were so carefree Those days of slides and swing sets Of playing out in the yard Those days when we were growing up And nothing seemed too hard. All too soon we turn around And find ourselves all grown With adult responsibilities And children of our own. The memories of yesterday Come quickly to mind When as an adult I'm searching For answers I cannot find. We struggle through our losses Gain strength from each hurdle crossed And learn that we are not truly alone Especially when we feel most lost. Now the shadows have faded to darkness The days warmth is now growing cold I look up to the stars in heaven And wonder what tomorrow will hold. The stars are shining down brightly Almost as if to say Sleep well my dear and don't be afraid For tomorrow's a brand new day.
