I'm one of those grammar-obsessed people. You won't often catch me spelling things wrong. But I do have pet peeves about other people's spelling... Not that I base my judgments of people on their grammar or anything, but there are some things I just can't seem to teach people and it drives me insane...
For example: There is no "A" in DEFINITELY. "should of" is wrong. It's "SHOULD HAVE". THEIR is possession, THEY'RE is "they are", THERE is location. YOUR is possession, YOU'RE is "you are". Ah, I feel better now... I won't go into the really fancy rules of grammar. Slang is fine. It's just the above things that get really annoying. Okay, I'm sorry everyone. Don't hate me!  I reject your reality and substitute my own.
