you know, i believe in all that Mother Earth and The Universe talking to you stuff. i do. so let's just praise them right about now.

something really weird happened to me today and tonight (no it has nothing to do with my earlier thread). i'm not gonna bore you with the details but i just want to say that MOther Earth and The Universe is looking after me for some strange reason and i gotta give up the props to her.

Here's a tale to tell.

After you, Freespirit, and I went our separate ways from the Grand Canyon, I was speeding along blasting Musicology. I came around a bend to see a HUGE buck standing in the middle of my lane. He towered way above my car, and majestically stood there as I swerved around him. I was terrifed and in complete awe at the same time. The top was down on my car, so as I did swerve, I knew that if he spooked and decided to leap, I was a G-O-N-E-R. But he was the perfect "deer in the headlights". Perfectly still. Didn't move. It was his road and he didn't budge. It really was a beautiful sight.

Anyway, completely shaken after that, I turned off the music and dropped my speed WAY down. It really let me enjoy the open air and CONNECT. It was a great drive out of the park area. Once all the curves were gone, I turned on the radio. I found a "Native" station that played tribal songs with a rock bent. It was very cool -- I've never heard anything like it before. One song really moved me, and the lyrics were about 3 shadows in the sky. It was as if it was speaking directly about the 3 of us. You and Julie were as present in my car as when we had been together all weekend. So INCREDIBLE!

So yeah, Praise and Love to the Universe. It's all One, We're all One.
