Coming soon to DVD. Get the gist of it straight from Kevin Smith himself:

Oh, and check out his hilarious banning of an ungrateful poster:

I like Kevin and even used to post on the viewaskew board until I realized that "Jay and Slient...excuse me..J&SBSB wasn't all that great. And after "Jersey Girl" I thought he lost me forever but his "Evening With Kevin Smith" DVD was worth the rental. He just sells why too much fucking stuff and I understand that people want it (hell, I would buy some of it), it just seems like people could easily go to the poor house trying to be Kevin Smith fans. I just checked out his site and he sells a box for $35 just to hold his first 3 movies. It's a bit much but if the demand his out there, I can't fault him that much.

I went and joined the Columbia House DVD club and got all of his films dirt cheap and in one sweep. Sure, I had to buy two more DVDs down the road, but that was okay. Just gotta watch for the deals.

I'm not really talking about the movies, which I ended up buying most of when they reducded the price of them (right when J&SBSB was released). No problem with any films...it's the extras. Take a look. Stickers, shirts, "nonaction figures", books (I understand that one) and again...a box to hold the first 3 DVDs! Insanity!

As for the price on his movies, they are dirt cheap at Best Buy now. I think I just saw that both verisons of "Clerks" (the movie and the cartoon) are both priced $9.99! And the "Clerks" series is two DVDs!

Yeah, I understand. You go beyond the movies themselves and you really pay. I wouldn't mind having one of those "Buddy Christ" statues, though. thumbs up!

I guess. It's just too much from a guy that seems really down to earth and you'd think would apperciate his fans. It's hard to tell if he is genuinely laughing with or at fans (something I noticed in "An Evening With...").
