Tell me about your cooking skills.

Can you cook anything and everything? What's your specialty? Your best dish perhaps?

LOL!

i can't really cook anything particular, but thats more due to the fact we never seem to have proper food in this house! If theres enough stuff I can cook quite well though smile

I don't think I'm as good as I think I am. I do a lovely curry and home made lasagne. I think my most extravagant dish would be mussles in a garlic and white wine sauce. It's not as exoctic as it sounds in all honesty.

Thats mightily impressive JD- I wouldn't downplay it if I were you!

It really isn't difficult at all Janey. All you do is wack the mussles in water together with the wine, crushed garlic and a chopped onion into a pan of water. Bring the water to the boil until the mussles have all opened up and voila. Serve it with some nice ciabatta bread.

Note: Don't try forcing the mussles open if they don't and remember to wash them and pull their beards off.

I'm good...real good. cool

I can cook pretty much anything except for fish and seafood for some reason... confused Chicken (soak it in seasoned buttermilk first overnight...superb), pretty much all pasta dishes (I make my own sauces, nothing store-bought) and everything breakfast-wise are where I'm best.

And I cook a mean Pop Tart... thumbs up!

Sinister

The skit from "Chocolate" by The Time.

Morris Day: I think I'll have the hot turkey dinner. What comes with that?

Prince/Waiter: Mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffin', green beans, chitlins, ...

Morris Day: That's good.

Prince/Waiter: .... candy sweet potatoes, ...

Morris Day: That's good, that's enough.

Prince/Waiter: .... black-eyed peas, grits, ...

Morris Day: Hey, wait.. wait.. wait, hold on, hold.. wait...

Prince/Waiter .... cabbage and...

Morris Day: Could you take this?

Prince/Waiter: I can say anything I want to. Y'all can't fuck with me.

Morris Day: Didn't nobody ask you all that, just take the menu.
Prince.Waiter: ....Look out.

Morris Day: And get the hell out my face, alright?

Prince.Waiter: ....Too old....

Morris Day: Too ugly.

Prince/Waiter.... Nasty.

I can cook all that food they mentioned and more!

I may have some ability at cooking. . .I almost never follow recipes, and can usually make a batch of random ingredients into something decent, sometimes even tasty. . .

Problem is I hate, hate, HATE cooking. If I liked it, I bet I'd be pretty good at it.

Specialty? Well, my vegan biscuits and gravy kinda rock, but that's hardly cooking. Um. . .I invented a baked pasta dish that's quite excellent, and I'm pretty good at soup.

I'm a decent cook...self taught too!

My favorite dish to make it Chicken Pasta Salad...cool pasta and veggies
mixed with italian dressing, cooked chicken, and parmesan cheese.

My most raved about dish is my Smashed Potatoes, which contain cream of
mushroom base, sour cream, green onions, cheese, milk, salt n pepper, and
topped off with lots of BACON!

Thanks a lot...it's 2:30 in the AM, and I'm hungry now...evillol
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
